Image: "Waving Flag"

Dear Everyone,

I was looking at the map, and was wondering if anyone knew how to modify an flag image to make it look like it was waving (i.e. EOS flag [on the map], the defunct Drachereich flag, Italgria, Miiros)? Appreciate any info!

Here's a guess:

1) Add a new layer to your flag.

2) Brush some dark wavy stripes on your new flag layer.

3) Change the opacity of those stripes untill your satisfied.

 

Or you could just google for flag+wavy+effect..

Seriously, I've decided to get of my butt and try to learn PS E 4.0. That way I can make decent maps that don't look like pixelated crap!
