Akiiryu
I vote Paul Narses, Tag's pipe smoking Minister for Overseas Geological Oddities. The fact there is even a ministry in Tagmatium covering such a portfolio is pretty cool in itself. Link to comment

Akiiryu
Where does one read about him? Take a look at Tag's threads...he is, imho, the best character writer we've got. Link to comment
Tagmatium Rules
He is based on several things, one of the characters in The Day of the Jackal, Commissaire Maurice Bouvier, as he smokes a pipe during the meeting in the Interior Ministry and upsets a person sat next to him, which I found amusing. Another was the wizards in Terry Pratchet's Discworld series, as they have bizarre and random titles for positions. The name Narses is taken from the famous 6th Century Byzantine general, Paul just a random one. Β He first appears in the beginning of the Tinian thread. Β I had to just look the name of the guy up in The Day of the Jackal. Edited September 8, 2006 by Tagmatium Rules (see edit history) Link to comment

Mongol-Swedes
I have kept the details of many of my characters a mystery, primarily because I wanted to foster a secretive image of the Union (until now, that is). Β Regardless, this particular character you've written up, Tag, is very effectively developed and adapted to the general variety of scenarios you've put him in. You have my kudos all the same.
