Miiros Short Story Project

Recommended Posts

So, I've been finding myself thinking that the fine players of Europa do not know enough about my fine city Miiros. So in an effort to really give the Free City a life of its own and provide myself with an opportunity to really practice writing and improve myself, I am going to start a series of short stories from the points of view of different Miirosi citizens. Each story will lead into the next with the point of view switching from one character to the last person they interact with in some way, a chain of sorts.

What I want to know before I begin is if there are any spots of Miiros or types of lifestyles you would particularly like to see in explored in Miiros and after I begin feel free to leave comments and suggestions here! I'm hoping to have the first one up by next Sunday. . . maybe. tongue.gif

Anything that you'd want to add to what you've already posted to your port city would certainly be welcomed (make my "port call" project easier). Also, any aspects of military tradition (i.e. British Navy allows alcohol at sea/US dosen't - (we're still uncivilized); or any other aspects of Port Alexandras, Korrina, or Sector VII you want expand upon.

We used to give a third of a pint of rum a day to our sailors and soldiers. During the Napoleonic Wars, the British Army was infamous for being drunk (due to the alcoholism of the times, many soldiers joined up for free booze) and often went crazy after a victory. We dropped the rum ration for the navy after WWII, I think. For the army it was a lot earlier.
