Tamurin
See here: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Europa/index.php?showtopic=2913 I'd like to have as many nations in this as possible, especially the "global players" and those who wanna become "global players". I have something special planned (no dull conference). Link to comment
Adaptus
I'm in, my current PM will not be present for the whole confrence, my new PM will, who will be a bit more Pro Adapton. Sort of like the British National Party. Link to comment
Akiiryu
Are you looking for a kind of UN here? Link to comment
Vocenae
Why not just join the CIS? Sounds like they are both essentially the same thing. Link to comment
Social Democratic Confederation
The CIS is already disbanded isn't it? Link to comment
Vocenae
Nope, still needs one more vote from Accra. But seriously, if you guys wanted to come in and take over the CIS, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Link to comment
Mongol-Swedes
I say stuff the Alliance, stuff the League of the Treaty, the Entente of Oriental States, the Commonwealth of Independent States, all of it, and make ONE body.. Link to comment
Vocenae
Bah, alliances make it more interesting. Link to comment
Bainbridge Islands
Well, eventhough the UN is semi-monolithic, there are still a lot alingments (i.e. Western block, old Soviet block, non-alingned nations, ect...). However, an umbrella organization would provide a common ground between states/groups with similar philosophies to interact with states/groups with differing philosophies. Link to comment
Fleet Admiral Connor Grey
Perhaps not a UN, but perhaps something of a Geneva Convention? Not an actual organization (or maybe a small one), but perhaps some kind of agreeable system? Or maybe not.... Note, that I will try to push, for security purposes, my old idea of SAPNET Link to comment
Tamurin
I was more thinking about the OSCE that was created in the 70s in Europe. It had the purpose to create some common ground between NATO and the Warszaw Pact nations and to soften the tensions between those pacts. The issues are more or less the same and I guess that our Europa needs that sort of conference/organization as much as real-world Europe in the 70s. However, this is not everything that will happen there. As I said, I have something very special planned. Don't worry, nothing will happen to your delegates. But I promise you a very interesting and thrilling RP. Link to comment
Tamurin
Well, I promised you guys a not-so-dull conference. Time-frame: Until wednesday (I am not here next weekend). OK. Some delegates were able to escape, it's your choice if they're hostages or not. But I promise: Nobody has to die unless he/she does something stupid. Link to comment
Emakera
Oh, and please don't mind much my post. As you all know, my president has issues. Although he is a marksman, he lacks emotional control and lives according to his own strange philosophies. But I don't plan on him dying on action-- I'm planning an assasination later. Orioni
Feel free to kidnap Borat. Link to comment
Social Democratic Confederation
Aha! I have a counter-terrorist-terrorist in the terrorist situation! Link to comment
Akiiryu
Tam, You are aware that Akiiryan Barons have their own armed body guards right (their leige men)? T'Rothric's are particuarily nasty and include at last one Knight of the Stag (N'Jorth). These men will quite happily die to defend their lord, while and the Baron would quiet happy die in battle. Akiiryans are, after all, a warrior culture. Equally, the SPA does take well to being told what to do, especially by terrorists. Any terrorists in Akiiryan prisons are gunna find themselves in more sh*t than they already were (hello firing squad). I'll make this clear right now, the SPA does not make deals with terrorists and will consider any country that does so to be weak, cowardly and have no moral backbone. Now, I am not against this rp, in fact I think i will enjoy it, but I just wanted to make things clear about the Akiiryan delegation and Akiiryu more generally. Edited to fix a comment based on a misreading. Edited August 11, 2006 by Akiiryu (see edit history) Link to comment
Tamurin
No problem there, Aki. I expected something like that from your end. Don't believe that Tamurin will comply to demands of terrorists. This is not how this RP should end. Regarding your guards - you have complete freedom there. They may be captured in battle, die in battle or fight their way out of there. Your choice. I'm sure you'll make it an interesting post to read. Link to comment
Adaptus
My Prime Minister was a former terrorist, so he knows the tricks of the trade, so some extent. So he's not to botherd about grabing an Ak and fireing like a loony into a hord of well trained soldiers. Oh and my Forigne affairs minister, he was a former army man, too. Nothing special, just a Lance Corporal in the Fusiliers. Link to comment
Miiros
In the event the Executor dies, Miiros will obliterate all of their "comrades" throughout Europa. =P The Executor doesn't like her hand being forced either as she represents a proud and ancient people. On the down side, she is a business woman and diplomat, not a soldier, so she'll pretty much have nothing but harsh words and threats of horrible retaliation. Link to comment
Nan Gorgwaith
I don't know what will happen with my group. All but two are probably going to get out of the building. Then what? Dunno. Link to comment
Orioni
@ Tamurin: Could your terrorists abuse Borat a bit? I'd RP it myself, but I guess the story will be rather finished next time I login. Feel free to kick him around and use him as a human shield, etc. Link to comment
Tamurin
@Orioni: OK... You don't like your representative much, do you? Link to comment
Nan Gorgwaith
One of my guys was captured so far, Representative James Madison Rikai. He went along to report back to his friends in the legislature about how the conference went. He is not really on good terms with Lord Gothmog. He is rather cowardly and full of himself. I have him being brought to wherever the rest of the captured delegates are being held. Feel free to RP anything to happen to him. (ie he is expendable like poor mr. Borat ) Link to comment
Tagmatium Rules
I've sort of entirely missed this one. Perhaps High Chancellor Ford went out for a cigarette, and escaped that way? He will die in my own time, though. He's never been popular in Tagmatium, and if the Holy Emperor's protection disappears, he'll be found soon after floating face down in the Borean Strait... And, similarly to Aki, Imperial Household Guard are particularly 'ard people. Very knowledgable of Tagmatium's martial art, and would have no hesitation to fight their way out. But they're all outside, watching their charge have a quick smoke, oblivious to what ever happened inside. Link to comment
Miiros
I guess the Executor managed to escape with the help of Emakera. Maybe someone could fish us out of that river, eh? XD The Executor is not pleased. Link to comment
