Miiros Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 (edited) The History of the Miirosi People  The Beginning (< 130 BCE) Since the beginning of history, the Miirosi have lived on their lush and vibrant island in the Rosario Sea. Archaeologists have found evidence of human population dating back nearly 15,000 years. The first people here were hunters and gatherers, keeping to the rich Emerald Plains, Iverna Peninsula, and coastal regions. In time, Miirosi spread into the highlands and the ancient forests until they finally discovered the veritable Eden of the lake country.  Over the course of centuries, the Miirosi divided themselves into a large multitude of tribes and bands. In time, settlements began to spring up among certain tribes as early forms of farming caught on around 1200 BCE. Farming tribes began to develop denser populations, which required expansion of their territory, leading to clashes between displaced hunter gatherer bands and the settled peoples. This trend only magnified over the centuries until warfare became near constant and deep intertribal hatreds developed.  Eventually, hunter and gatherer tribes were chased off the plains and coast and were restricted to the highlands and forests, where life proved to be very difficult. The forest tribes deified the trees and shadow and highlanders deified vicious shadow lions that roamed the land along with the lakes that kept their people supplied with water. These peoples praised struggle and warfare, launching devastating nighttime raids on the ?soft? settled populations, bringing back booty, new wives, and prisoners for sacrifice.  Despite raids by woodland and highlander tribes, the settled peoples of Miiros flourished as farming advanced and villages grew into complex towns. The most successful tribes evolved into chiefdoms, which began to dominate the other settled peoples and ward off the vicious woodland and highlander peoples. The chiefdoms began to fortify their towns and experimented greatly with stonework amd began to deify the sunshine that sustained their crops, the water, and the earth along with the stonework that protected them.  As the rift between the settled tribes and chiefdoms and the nomadic tribes grew and folk legends evolved, Miir and Ros came into being. The first known shrines date back to 400 BCE and the Twin Goddesses did not replace the old druidic deities, so much as absorb them. The goddesses were twin sisters at constant battle with one another, mirroring the battles between the Miirosi tribes. Ros thrived in the night, which had historically been when the highlander and woodland tribes conducted raids and her servants were the powerful shadow lions. Miir banished the night away and blessed the land, establishing order and prosperity in the cities. Throughout the ages, the Twin Goddesses would evolve to mean a great many things to the Miirosi, eventually becoming the personifications of good and evil much later.  The many chiefdoms of Miiros continued to expand in power and technology over the centuries; however, they were still unable to crush the woodland and highlander tribes. Increased warfare between the chiefdoms themselves also limited growth substantially. Despite all this, a rather effective network of rough stone roads cropped up and fortifications and structures were becoming more stable and sturdy all the time and the greatest cities rarely had to fear raids anymore, prompting immigration. The worship of Miir and Ros continued, adopting many of the old druidic customs. A major turning point would soon shake Miiros, however, and change the course of history.  Roman Arrival and Conquest (130 BCE - 106 BCE)  Romanization (106 BCE - 43 BCE)  The Miirosi-Roman War (43 BCE - 38 BCE)  The Miirosi City-States (38 BCE - 523 CE)  The First Miirosi Empire (523 CE - 1376 CE)  The Interregnum (1376 CE - 1405 CE)  The Second Miirosi Empire (1405 CE - 1535 CE)  The First Dark Reign (1535 CE - 1560 CE)  The Burning and Great Sunder (1560 CE - 1561 CE)  Age of Sorrow (1561 CE - 1622 CE)  Rebirth (1622 CE - 1683 CE)  The Bloody Restoration (1683 CE - 1698 CE)  The Second Dark Reign (1698 CE - 1725 CE)  Miirosi Civil War (1725 CE - 1753 CE)  Isolation and Reconstruction (1750 CE - 1872 CE)  Gradual Reentry (1817 CE - 2005 CE)  The Miirosi Golden Age (2005 CE - Present)  Edited November 28, 2006 by Miiros (see edit history)
Miiros Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 (edited) The Miirosi Military  The Miirosi Armada  The pride and joy of the Miirosi people, the Miirosi Armada has guarded the Grand Isle of Miiros for countless centuries and has a long history. The Armada is easily the most powerful and prestigious branch of the military and it enjoys high funding and manpower. The reasoning behind the Armadaâs importance is simple; being an island nation, invaders must invade from the sea and the Armada is the best tool in stopping them. The Armada also projects Miirosi power throughout the Orient, allowing Miiros to safeguard its allies and protect Miirosi and EOS interests.  Total Forces: 6 Fleets 482,367 Enlisted Sailors  OVERALL: Colossus Class Flag-battleship: 6 Crew: 4000  Hydra Class Battleships: 44 Crew: 2900  Eyrie Class Aircraft Carriers: 22 Crew (ship): 3600 | Crew (air): 2200  Vader Class Guided-Missile Cruisers: 44 Crew: 420  Harpy Class Anti-Air Destroyers: 88 Crew: 380  Harkonnen Class Anti-Ship Destroyers: 88 Crew: 380  Gallant Class Fast Attack Frigate: 176 Crew: 85  Myrmidon Class Nuclear Attack Submarines: 110 Crew: 130  Kraken Class Nuclear Ballistics Submarine: 44 Crew: 200  Sentinel Class Coastal Patroller: 260 Crew: 15  Enforcer Class Coastal Gunship: 128 Crew: 25  Newt Class Amphibious Attack Craft: 55 Crew: 20  Volos Class Amphibious Transport: 110 Crew (Piloting): 5 | Capacity: 80 Marines  Total Carrier Groups: 22  Heavy Carrier Group Organization:  Hydra Class Battleships: 2 Eyrie Class Aircraft Carriers: 1 Vader Class Guided-Missile Cruisers: 2 Harpy Class Anti-Air Destroyers: 4 Harkonnen Class Anti-Ship Destroyers: 4 Gallant Class Fast Attack Frigate: 8 Myrmidon Class Nuclear Attack Submarines: 5 Kraken Class Nuclear Ballistics Submarine: 2 Fleet Breakdown  1st Fleet of the Miirosi Armada: Miirosi Home Fleet, Volantis Naval Base 1st Admiral Miranda Corrino This fleet is tasked with the ever-important task of patrolling the waters around the Grand Isle itself and is the strongest in the Armada. Miiros Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 Introduction The Free City of Miiros is an ancient nation situated on the Grand Isle of Miiros in eastern Europa. The most distinguishing characteristic of Miiros is that the vast majority of the population lives in one huge urban cluster that dominates the north and west of Miiros's low lying regions; this is where the term "Free City" originates from since there is no break in any of the nation's urban landscape. In all reality, the Free City itself is broken down into a large number of sub-cities, which would closely resemble the metropolises of the rest of the world save for the fact they all border each other. The rest of Miiros is largely unpopulated and dominated by breathtaking, unspoiled landscapes, large corporate farming institutions, and the occasional village or military installation. Being situated on an island, Miiros is a historic maritime nation centering on trade and exploration. In more ancient times, brave Miirosi sailors would strike out along the coast of mainland Europa and even sail boldly east into the unknown. The Free City had trading partners all across medieval Europa until the Great Burning, which cast the island power into a 700 year period of isolationism and pacifism from which it is just now emerging. Now it works to rebuild its commercial and military might alongside its neighbors. Government The Free City of Miiros is ruled by a federal government. The government in Miiros is always divided into three distinct branches to prevent corruption and tyranny and has national and local levels of government. In place of states or provinces, Miiros has sub-cities and uses mayors in place of governors. Each sub-city government also shares the three-branch structure of the national government. Executive Branch: The Office of the Executor The executive branch is headed by the Executor of the Free City. He/she is basically the face of the Miirosi government. He/she deals with foreign nations and is tasked with enforcing Miirosi law, commanding the military, and shaping government policy. His/her administration also sets the annual budget of Miiros. The Executor is elected by the people of the Free City and can serve a maximum of two terms; each term is five years long. The requirements to become Executor: you must be a naturally born citizen of Miiros and you must be at least thirty-five years of age. Legislative Branch: The Senate The Senate of Miiros is charged with creating law for the Free City and their proceedings are overseen by the Consul, a senate appointed officer. There are currently one-hundred-twelve seats in the Senate; each sub-city and Greater Miiros holds two seats. Senators are elected by the people of their respective sub-cities to terms of four years and can hold as many terms as they like. To ensure that the entire Senate is never up for re-election, the Senate elects only half of its Senators every two years and the other half two years later. Requirements that Senators face are: you must be a resident of your sub-city for at least ten years, you must continue to live in your sub-city for the duration of your term, and you must be at least thirty years of age. Judicial Branch: The High Court The High Court of Miiros is the greatest court in all of the Free City. They are composed of a panel of nine Justiciars and one High Justiciar, who are appointed by the Executor, but must be approved by the Senate; the High Justiciar is the Justiciar with the most seniority. The Justiciars serve for life or as long as they are able. They have the final say in all court cases and can overturn legislature passed by the Senate if they deem it unconstitutional. Political Parties The United Workers of Miiros (UWM): Marcus Green Core Values: Equality, state ownership, and unity Platform: It is the goal of the United Workers of Miiros to usher in a New Age of equality and sharing amongst the people of the Free City. Through state ownership, all aspects of life can be carefully managed by those elected, thus deemed responsible, by the citizens, so resources and products are distributed to produce the highest degree of equality in Miiros. New welfare systems will be put into effect to protect the people of Miiros from falling into a miserable and desperate life of poverty. The people of Miiros are brothers and sisters; they should all work to help each other. The United Workers will make Miiros not a country, but a family! Primary Supporters: People of the industrial sectors below the Grand Plate and the impoverished. The Libertarian Party (L): Andrea deVries Core Values: Liberty, free market, and low taxes Platform: The Libertarian Party works endlessly to ensure that the Free City becomes even freer in virtually all aspects of life. They value a free market economy, high personal freedom in daily life, and respect and wish to preserve the political freedoms the people of Miiros have enjoyed. By lowering taxes and loosening restriction on business, the Libertarians hope to bring formerly unheard of economic prosperity to the Free City, which enables the citizenry to live the lifestyle they wish to in a comfortable manner without government intervention. In the social aspect of life, they wish to eliminate archaic restrictions on drug use and free the common person from dependence on the government. Their government will be more of a guardian to stop corruption and aggression and to deal with foreign lands in matters only a state may carry out. Primary Supporters: Capitalists and civil rights activists along with large portions of the upper and middle class. The Holy Order of God (HOG): Patrick Phelps Core Values: Morals, religion, and defense Platform: The Holy Order works to instill the morals of the Bible into the godless heathen society that torments the Free City of Miiros. People simply do not fear or respect the Word of the Lord and they believe that it is the task of the government to guide the citizenry into the light â kicking and screaming, if need be. They will strive to bring religion into all aspects of life, especially education so that the people of the Free City can renounce their heathen ways and enjoy a new enlightened age where God is central in life. The religious, God-fearing people of the Holy City would live in a safer society due to the planned increase in police and military spending that will be required to âkeep the heathens at bay.â Primary Supporters: Radical Christians The Citizens' Rights Coalition (CRC): Mari Visercon Core Values: Mixed economy, welfare programs, safeguarding the people Platform: Seeking to safeguard the people of Miiros against a money-driven corporate world, the CRC believes in a mixed economy with government regulation in business when it is critical to protect the citizenry and state. Welfare programs and urban renewal programs will be created to revitalize areas long in decline and to combat the blight that is poverty in Miiros. The CRC will also hold corporations accountable for their actions against workers and demand that they recognize the right of workers to organize unions. Political freedom and civil rights traditional to Miiros will be upheld. Primary Supporters: People primarily of the middle-lower and lower classes who are primarily employed in factories or lower corporate positions and immigrants. The Federal Alliance (FA): Richard Gaul Core Values: Sector and sub-city rights, local government, small central government Platform: The Federalists believe in allowing the bulk of decisions to be made on a more local level, putting more power in the hands of the sub-cities and sectors. The central government would be scaled back, leaving them to deal with only matters of foreign policy and the military. The national government would also be prohibited from collecting income tax, to ensure that the people of each sub-city have greater control over their tax dollars. With greater powers in the hands of local governments, the citizens would be allowed to live in a lifestyle more akin to their own beliefs rather than a general mish-mash of all Miirosi beliefs. Primary Supporters: Sub-cities populated with people of radical views outside of the accepted mainstream. The Technocrat Party (T): Claire Merlon Core Values: Scientific freedom, R&D funding, increasing technology levels Platform: The Technocrats are a specialty party that focuses on fighting for greater scientific freedoms and increased government backing of research projects across the Free City. They are also staunch advocates of âtabooâ research and procedures including, but not limited to, the insertion of electronic components into the body, human cloning, and genetic manipulation. They fight for a better, more advanced future and look boldly ahead when others would shy away. Primary Supporters: R&D companies and academics. The Our Country Party (OC): Vincent Flair Core Values: Isolationism, xenophobia, and defense Platform: Our Country is an organization of people violently opposed to interacting with the other lands of Europa and fiercely against immigration and emigration. If in power, the would effectively seal the borders to outside goods and people, outlaw the use of foreign tongues, and deport any foreign-born people in order to âkeep the bloodlines pure.â A sharp increase in police and military funding would be brought about in order to safeguard the borders and stop any foreign influences from breaching Miiros. They view anything originating for another land as a direct threat to the âproperâ way of life. Primary Supporters: Isolationists The Children of Liberty* (CL): No Single Leader Core Values: Direct democracy, civil liberties, and zero âgovernmentâ Platform: Opposed to a government of any kind, believing it to leads to oppression and violence, the Children of Liberty think that the people of Miiros should rule themselves directly and form policy based on referendums for any critical issues. Majority rule would prevail and the corrupt ways of politicians out for money and power would disappear. The Children of Liberty want to make the Free City truly free; cast down the oppressors once and for all! The Children of Liberty are suspected of using tactics akin to those of terrorists and are under surveillance by the Miirosi government. Primary Supporters: Anarchists inspired by Upper Strathyclyde. The Order of the New Dawn* (OND): Denise Gratiot Core Values: Imperialism, defense, and law & order Platform: The Order of the New Dawn is a radical organization bent on restoring the glory of the ancient Free Cities of the Miirosi archipelago through military force and cultural domination. From there, the power of Miiros would be projected out into Europa through commerce and force. The OND has been classified as a terrorist organization by the current government of the Free City. Primary Supporters: Radical imperialists and parts of the military. The Guardians of the Free City (GFC): John Haggerty Core Values: Defense and law & order Platform: For too long Miiros has been a pacifist state with rusting defenses and an idle army. With dangers lurking across the region, the military must be reformed and defenses revamped or else the Free City will be subjugated by some foreign power or alliance or just flat out ignored and walked on. The key to influence is military power, even if one never uses it. It is high time the people of Miiros had teeth again; peace can be ensured through power. Primary Supporters: Mixed support, military, and police. The Peopleâs Peace Alliance (PPA): Aron Vander Core Values: Pacifism, civil liberties, and humanitarianism Platform: The PPA exists to promote peace and freedom in and outside of Miiros and had been the dominant party in the Free City for many decades. Being a party based on pacifism, the PPA has largely disbanded the Miirosi military and let the defenses fall to ruin. The party responsible for ending Miirosi isolation, the PPA has also unwittingly shown the average Miirosi the need for a military force by involving Miiros in the Dacvi Conflict without military escorts for their medical corps. The PPAâs support has evaporated and the reign of pacifism in the Free City is definitely at an end. Primary Supporters: Those in denial.

Rekamgil Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 What about your island up near the Gulf of Jaihu, near the Italgrian coast? I'm quite happy to spat over Zelos if it comes down to it. However, I OOC understand that you might like a sizeable chunk of mainland near your home island. I'd be willing to forgo that polt to "colonize" another one somewhere else. I could probably make it politically "necessary" to take an island in the west; in the Ranke Sea perhaps... (anybody listening)

I could probably make it politically "necessary" to take an island in the west; in the Ranke Sea perhaps... (anybody listening) Just added the two islands. I forgot about them for a minute, despite them being very important. Â As for the plot, I was thinking of maybe splitting it up with you after an RP with Miiros controlling the north and parts of the east and Rekamgil taking the land to the south and southeast below Zelos. Of course one of us has to actually claim the plot for this to go ahead. If I were claiming and plots though, I would go for 42 and 41 and add that part of 43 to reunite the old Miirosi empire. You could take parts of southwestern 42 to make up for the loss. I plan all of this just to make Orioni's life difficult.
Miiros Posted November 28, 2006 Author Posted November 28, 2006 Starting to fill in the history! I've got the earliest time filled in right now.
Miiros Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 (edited) Miiros v2.0 Note: Major cities are the only ones to appear on the map. To qualify as a major city, it must have a population over ten million people.  Full Size  The Enlightened Republic of Miiros Area: 1,052,993 km? Population: 370,858,641 Pop Density: 352 /km?  The Enlightened Republic is a nation spanning three islands and four isles in southeastern Europa between the Byzantine and Azure Seas. It is a highly developed, urbanized society with the majority of its people living in one of several major urban centers. The terrain is mostly flat and fertile, but there are two small peaks on the largest island. The highest peak is the Mountain of Ros, which rises to 943 meters. The climate is warm year round with very little variation is temperature. In the summer, rain is rare, but precipitation occurs more frequently in spring and fall. The coastal regions are lines with sandy or rocky beaches bordering scrubland. The interior is covered in grasslands and woodlands of mostly oak, cypress, and pine.  The economy is highly diversified and one of the best in Europa. On a regional level, Miirosi industries are usually in the top three. Vocenae, Haruspex Machina, and the Social Democratic Confederation are the nation's major competitors economically. In agriculture, Miiros produces fish, olives, wine, wheat, and various fruits and vegetables. Miiros has one of the largest commercial fishing fleets in the east. Industrially Miiros produces on two levels, one requiring unskilled labor and the other requiring higher education. Miiros has a large number of ore and mineral processing centers, a large automobile industry, and booming construction industry that specializes in skyscrapers. Shipbuilding and aviation are also critical fields. In the high-tech industries, Miiros leads in semiconductor manufacturing, optical fibers, optoelectronics, optical media, facsimile and copy machines, and fermentation processes in food and biochemistry. Miiros also produces a huge amount of consumer electronics. The service economy is what accounts for nearly 75% of the Miirosi economy, however. Banking, insurance, real estate, retailing, transportation, and telecommunications are all major industries with many companies attempting to expand into other Europan nations. As one of the principle economic powers of Europa, Miiros strives to aid the lesser nations within its general proximity.  Airal o Toradaer Area: 62,100 km? Population: 129,345,263 Pop Density: 2,082 /km?  Despite being the smallest of the three great islands of the Enlightened Republic, Toradaer is by and large considered to be the most important. The nation?s political, commercial, and cultural capitals are all located on the island along with one of the nation?s most visited tourist destination. Every last square meter of Toradaer has been touched by human hands. The land between the major urban centers are covered by manicured parklands, lesser urban centers, and suburban development. Due to so many prominent cities being clustered together, the island is colloquially referred to as ?the Core.? Toradaer truly exemplifies the Miirosi principle of nature being purified into art.  Orthen Area: 1,550 km? Population: 27,257,400 Pop Density: 17,585 /km?  At the very heart of the Enlightened Republic is the wondrous city of Orthen. It is the nation?s political, economic, and cultural capital and one of the largest urban centers in the Orient. The city is divided into several self-governing districts in order to streamline the governing process and to give local government more control. In order to meet demands for housing, Orthen has built both up into the sky and down into the earth.  Dylar Area: 2,000 km? Population: 18,234,000 Pop Density: 9,117 /km?  Dylar is the most visited tourist destination in the Enlightened Republic. It also coincidentally has a reputation as a city of sin and debauchery. The economy here is based solely upon the pleasure industries. Dylar is the capital of Miiros? gambling and entertainment industries. The Dylarian bordellos are world renowned and attract millions of visitors every year. The movie and music industries also thrive in this garden of earthly delights. Dylar is also home to some of the largest hotels in the Orient.  Iverna Area: 2,500 km? Population: 20,000,500 Pop Density: 8,000 /km?  Iverna is an ancient city that has not been left behind by modernity. Originally the capital of the classical Miirosi Empire, Iverna is now one of the nation?s foremost seaports. The historical center of Iverna has been wonderfully preserved and is quite a draw for tourists. The city is also well known for its gardens and museums. Iverna has the most number of private registered boats in all of Miiros.  Tokai Area: 1,200 km? Population: 19,250,000 Pop Density: 16,041 /km?  An inland city of great population and many factories, Tokai is the poorest of the Core Cities. It the greatest manufacturing center on Toraedaer, but also suffers from high crime and has many large slums.  Airal o Eisadai Area: 764,628 km? Population: 202,962,041 Pop Density: 265 /km?  Eisadai is the largest of the Miirosi islands and boasts the largest population along with many prominent urban centers that rival those found on Toradaer. The island is in stark contrast to the manicured environment of Toradaer and much more pristine landscape can be found here. The island is home to the nation?s wine and mining industries. Large commercial farms also grow wheat and olives. The coastal regions are the most popular tourist destinations due to the many beaches and the larger number of cities. Some more adventurous people, however, opt to visit rural Eisadai where villages can be found that have remained relatively unchanged since for centuries and traditional arts and architecture can still be found. Eisadai is also home to the two Great Temples of Miir and Ros, which still receive tens of thousands of pilgrims each year.  Thysi Area: 6,000 km? Population: 26,340,000 Pop Density: 4,390 /km?  Thysi is one of the principle manufacturing centers of the Enlightened Republic and one of the most troubled urban centers in Miiros. High crime rates coupled with extremely poor living conditions for most of the population make this a city for tourists and citizens to avoid unless absolutely necessary. Despite its social problems, Thysi produces goods at an extremely fast rate for extremely cheap. Still, this city stands in stark contrast to the rest of Miiros; it is a whole other world.  Toladae Area: 1,200 km? Population 12,000,000 Pop Density: 10,000 /km?  Toladae is primarily a manufacturing city, but it is also in much better shape than many of the other cities that depend on manufacturing to survive. The city refines many of the raw minerals mined from the Miireen Highlands and processes a number of agricultural products from the surrounding region. While still suffering from issues with crime and poverty, Toladae has a healthy service economy and nice commercial and entertainment districts.  Lyssa Area: 3,000 km? Population: 11,204,000 Pop Density: 3,734 /km?  One of the ancient free cities to have developed into a modern metropolis, Lyssa is a popular tourist destination. The city is environmentally stunning with more parks than any other major Miirosi city. The beaches here are also phenomenal. Lyssa brings most of its money in through tourism, but also has a healthy fishing industry.  Volantis Area: 2,500 km? Population: 22,300,000 Pop Density: 8,920 /km?  Volantis is the capital of Miiros? shipbuilding industry and another of the ancient free cities makes it a cultural bastion too. Volantis has always been a rival to Iverna and Orthen and does all that is can to surpass them. Due to this, Volantis is sometimes included in the definition of the Core Cities. The city is also one of Eisadai?s principle seaports for agricultural goods and petrochemicals. The manufacturing industry here focuses on goods requiring highly skilled labor. The commercial and cultural districts are world-class.  Maestari Area: 2,750 km? Population: 15,340,000 Pop Density: 5,578 /km?  The cultural capital of the interior of Eisadai. Ethyros also has a heavy influence in the aeronautics industries in Miiros.  Shaeria Area: 2,200 km Population: 10,000,500 Pop Density: 4,546 /km?  A bustling population center in the east of Eisadai with an emphasis on services and information technology.  Tartos Area: 1,000 km? Osolos is home to the largest commercial fishing fleet in the entire Enlightened Republic and also quite important to the information technology industry.  Airal o Aeleira Area: 187,500 km? Population: 25,551,337 Pop Density: 120 /km?  Aeliera is the breadbasket of Miiros. The island is home to large commercial farming operations that work to produce the food Miiros needs to thrive. Fishing fleets also work the waters of the Azure Sea to the southeast to contribute to the nation?s massive hunger for seafood. There are only two major urban centers, but they house most of the island?s population.  Vyri Area: 4,500 km? Population: 10,000,000 Pop Density: 2,222 /km?  Vyri is a relatively quiet city for having such a large population. This is due to the fact it is more spread out than the average Miirosi metropolis. The economy here is largely to support the agricultural workers from the surrounding farmlands.  Toria Area: 3,000 km? Population: 12,000,000 Pop Density: 4,000 km?  Toria is the location of Aeleira?s only major seaport and distributes the massive amounts of agricultural goods coming in from all over the island to the other major ports of the Enlightened Republic. The city is no hick town, however, since it boasts a cultural quarter and entertainment district quite standard in any major Miirosi city.  Airae o Kadaeloli Area: 15,625 km? Population: 250,000 Pop Density: 16 /km?  Kadaeloli is the largest of Miiros? isles, but mostly unsettled. There are no major urban centers and the majority of the population lives in old rural villages. It is a popular tourist destination due to the pristine wilderness, gorgeous weather, and perfect beaches.
