Ravenhelm Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 (edited) this is boring Edited July 18, 2006 by orioni (see edit history)
Ravenhelm Posted July 16, 2006 Author Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) i'm serious  by the way, could SOMEONE please frickin' comment on my proposed resolution in the ministry of internal affairs UN section? Edited July 16, 2006 by Ravenhelm (see edit history)
Tagmatium Rules Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 It really ain't going to help anyone saying stuff like that; if you want to do something, elaborate more. If you have a solution to something, add more detail. Just putting "this is boring" is a bit, well, foolish.
Akiiryu Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I agree with Tag, rather than making such comments try being positive.
Orioni Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 That was intended. If I'd have written "positive = boring" I'd have to be lying. There's not such thing like "potisive". Not yet anyway...
Tamurin Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 I guess we just invented it...we should hijack this thread for defining "potisive". Then it would serve some purpose.
Orioni Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 'Po:tis:ive  A term used when one wished to make a negative statement about something positive, but meant to keep the general atmosphere positive.
Tamurin Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 'Pot:i:sive  A term used to refer to "pot" or drugs in general or to create a connection between an object or a situation or a person to "pot" or drugs in general.  Examples: "Man, you are so potisive!" (= "Man, you so remind of Pot right now" OR "Man, you seem so stoned (= high on drugs)")  "Bungee-jumping, it's...you just can't describe it...well, maybe you could say it's potisive, but that doesn't quite fit." (= Bungee-jumping makes you feel like you're on drugs) Â
