Akiiryu Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 ...the same day you discover an article you wrote is referenced on wikipedia the local newspaper purchases an article you wrote. Yes, I am happy (about the newspaper thingee, wikipedia I am not so sure about). No, I really do not believe I have "made it"
Akiiryu Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 You write articles? Yes, hard to believe eh? Page A3 of today's Ottawa Citizen has my first paid for piece. A mere 700 odd words, but I am still really pleased. The Wiki link in which one of my academic articles is referenced is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_sterilization
Haken Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 (edited) You write articles? Yes, hard to believe eh? Hey, don't take it like "You write articles?", it was just an invetation to elaborate. *goes of to see the link* Edited July 1, 2006 by Haken (see edit history)
Orioni Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Congratulations there on the scientific succes. I hope you do get something out of it. Something other then pride, I mean. A pay raise, for example.
