It is a highly developed and industrialised area of Italgria and its biggest production is Arms Manufacturing and Cars Developing  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Today a scientist of the EAS was arrested by the Police of San Agostino because he was panicking and running around the city trying to say everybody that San Agostino will be hit by an Earthquake of about 9 in the Richter Scala very soon. He has predicted many of this Earthquakes already and has not been right once with his predictions. Other scientists in the meanwhile say that there is no reason to worry about an earthquake or any accident of that style and if something happened the population would be alarmed soon enough. The arrested scientists is Joe Lampard and the EAS has already announced that he will get fired as soon as he gets out of jail in 10 days. Link to comment
Italgria Posted June 21, 2006 Author Share Posted June 21, 2006 - San Agostino - 21st of June 2006 - Â Â Today in San Agostino an earthquake of 4.7 in the Richter Scala occured in the east right under one of the most important power plants in the country. The powerplant has been partially destroyed and the entire town darkened up. Energy is already been provided by some of the power plants of Italgria but 70% of the city remains out of light. Specially the regions with low police force and low income workers is badly affected and the population living there is rising their voice against the Minister elected. There have already been reported plunderings all around the "dark" side of San Agostino. Police forces have been reinforced and the minister elected states that there is no need to worry about anything and that the situation is under control. Meanwhile the fear of the scenario presented by the "mad" ESA scientist becomes true is growing in wide parts of San Agostino. Scientists still declare that there is no need to worry and that everything will be done to warn the population in time. Link to comment

The development of Energism has aided our country greatly as a more direct process of capital flow. The banking system is now largely in the hands of vast power plants, although not completely. Our system varies differently in internal matters than a capitalist system, but can work with the system as need (as demonstrated by foreign matters).  Unfortunately, Deltannia's distance to Italgria makes this difficult to bring this direct power. We can set up transports as mobile capacitors to bring some energy to Italgria to help relieve the situation. After some smaller earthquakes with no several damage on population aswell as infrastructure many people living in San Agostino have started packing and leaving the city. The airport is running at 140% and the routes out of San Agostino are stuck. Meanwhile 25% of San Agostino are under electricity. The engineers managed to repair as much as to deliver 5% more. Due to the mass panicking of people all ways out of San Agostino have been blocked from Minister Elect afirming that there is no need to panick about anything since there wont be a big earthquake. Meanwhile the riots in the "dark" parts of San Agostino have increased and some of the population living in the "light" site have joined the rioting mostly due to the decission of the Minister Elect not to allow anybody out of San Agostino. The police cant cope up with these riotings anymore and the Civil Guard aswell as parts from the Army have been called from Tierra del Vasto to take under control the situation. Link to comment

This is a strictly civilian organization that deals with natural desasters just like you are experiencing now. They could assist you in rebuilding your infrastructure, as well as provide small portable power sources.  We're also prepared to send police forces to your country. They could take over the work in the parts of your country that were not affected by the earthquake, thus "freeing" units of your armed forces for duty in the catastrophe region. We have sent engineers to the places to prepare them for setting up the mobile capacitors. For the time being we are using the following mobile capacitors produced by our industry to ensure energy in some parts of Italgria.   Since however our industry is not specialized in this we only have enough to ensure 1/4 of San Agostino energy. Further the capacitors we are setting up are to backup our power plant since without them the power plant would already have crushed.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  - San Agostino - 24th of June 2006 -  A Civil Guard patrol was patrolling one of the most dangerous sites in San Agostino when this message came through:  "Delta 1 here Delta HQ do you copy?"  "Loud and clear what is the mather?"  "We have received reports from civilians that there has been an assault on a arms manufacturing factory in your sector. We have sent a backup request to Golden Eagle 1 and 2, ETA 2 minutes. Wait for them and go take a look."  "Copy! Over and Out!"  "Here Golden Eagle 1 and 2, do you copy Delta 1?"  "We hear you loud and clear. "  "We have received orders to take a look what is going on at the arms manufacturing factory."  "Roger we will follow you."  After five minutes of driving the Humvees suddenly stops...  "Whats going on Golden Eagle 1, why did you stop?"  "There is a truck blocking our way through. Put in the reverse!"  "Crap where did that truck came from? Cant move out anymore!"  "Something is not right here. Everybody seek cover and be prepared to fire! Give our coordinates through to the headquarters Delta 1"  "Damn, I have been hit!"  "They are firing at us! Call the HQ immediatly!"  "HQ here Golden Eagle 2! We are under fire! Requesting approval to fire back at hostile civilians over"  "Here HQ your request has been approved! Good luck!"  "We have got approval from the HQ! OK guys move out!"  After five minutes of firing it suddenly turned quite. The hostile civilians had given up. Seven men from the Civil Guard were injured and two were heavily injured  "We need a Medic Chopper immediately do you copy?"  "Roger. Medic Chopper on its way. ETA 2 minutes at Libertador Plaza."  26 hostile civilians were lightly wounded, 3 heavily injured and 2 had died. The leader of the group was caught and as soon as the message spread out, about 500 people surrendered, giving their stolen arms back. The 'Aid for Italgria' action has received a lot of support from people nationwide. This week alone, over ÎĻ2.000.000 was gathered by public schools. Government officials have said the Imperial Council has agreed to doubling this amount.  Our government also pledged support to the strucken city of San Agostino, where power and electricity are slowly restored. There are suggestions that this occured due to the small earthquakes happening outside San Agostino which are causing high turbulences in the sea. Measures to keep the vaste problems in borders are underway but many believe that the whole beach of San Agostino will be full of oil in a day or two. Link to comment

We have sent them and our engineers will asist yours in connecting them to the power grid. After that, restoration of the entire grid can commence.  Deltannian Energy Commission  -----  *San Agostino - Uninhabited Sector*  The Chief Engineer oversaw the unloading of various power structures, cables and wires, tools, everything needed to convert these buildings into temporary power generators.  He had to look at what was available. Geothermal energy was considered, but San Agostino was no where near any available underground entrance, there wouldn't be enough of a supply to do anything. They were surrounded by water, but channeling it would be impossible for hydroelectric. But if they could get some steam....  For now, solar-wind power seemed abundant. No doubt the Italgrians could afford to use oil or gasoline for these purposes at the moment. Besides, the weather here would provide for mostly Solar or Wind power anyway. The times that there weren't, hopefully batteries would be set up by then.  The mobile capacitors needed to be hooked up first, for immediate power. He got several engineers to work with the Italgrians so that the hook up would be compatible. While they were doing that, it was time to start assembling the solar panels.... Link to comment
Tamurin Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 ---- Voice of the Republic ----  Luftwaffe transporting portable power sources to Italgria  After a terrible and devastating earthquake in Italgria, another oriental nation in the North of Tamurin, President Axmann has authorized the "Catastrophe Guard" to send help to Italgria.   As you can see here, a Transall-aircraft of the Luftwaffe recently arrived at Tierra del Vasto military base, after San Agostino International Airport had several problems due to the earthquake. The "Catastrophe Guard" unloaded ten portable fuel-based power sources and instructed specialists of Italgria on using them. After eight hours, the Luftwaffe-aircraft started and returned all Tamurinians safely to Alaghon International Airport.  Rumours of riots in the catastrophe area had started discussions about the safety of our specialists in Italgria, so the visit was as short as possible with no members of the "Catastrophe Guard" remaining in Italgria.  Presiden Axmann said that if Italgria required more help, Tamurin would stand by. But if this help would require Tamurinians to enter the devastated area, they would have to be protected by armed guards - police or military. Link to comment

Officials believe the last 5% are just a mather of few days. Meanwhile the army has managed to take under control all rebel forces and riotings except for the new formed LIF (Liberation of Italgria through Force) rebell group.   The are circled in dark brown is the are under control by the rebels. Italgria Posted June 29, 2006 Author Share Posted June 29, 2006 - San Agostino - 29th of June 2006 - Â Today officials have announced that 99% of Italgria is under power supply again. The last 1% is the area controlled by the LIF which will be given electricity as soon as the surrender. Meanwhile the government had announced this, the LIF decided to attack the army. 27 Infantry men were lightly injured, 7 severly injured and 2 had died. On the other hand the rebels had 107 casualties. The government has send out the 101st Panzer regiment to finish the story with the LIF Link to comment
