War over 0.27 island

My nation will hopefully be placed in plot 81, should the map co-ordinators approve of my request. A small island, 0.27 is next to me. I want to start a war with someone over these islands. I am willing to lose the islands but i request that i lose fairly. I don't mind losing as long as it is not a humiliatingly massive one. I don't want some stupid godmodder sending 700 billion "n00ks" at me.

Anyone who is wanting to start a roleplay war with me over these islands is most welcome, and i fully accept any nations, even new ones like myself. I will hope to be good friends with the roleplaying enemies ooc and keep the fighting to ic.

I'd be interested, but only as a minor character - say a couple of reporters reporting on an incident (like re-discovering a previously extinct fish) and get caught in the fighting.

Since it's so far away from the main of Deltannia, I'd be willing to fight over a research colony or naval outpost set up there. Not saying that I own the island now, but that I have a "presence" there. I could then defend it and such, I don't care who would win since I'm so far away. This is only if there aren't any closer neighbors of yours who would want to do this.

I suggest we wait for someone who is willing to fight a war and be the main rp enemy, if noone takes the oppurtunity then i guess i could let you take a responsible role

Because we're trying to get support from Deltannia in a current conference, we may intervene if you attack a Deltannian patrol say.

 

No massive troop deployment, but enough to keep a small conflict going. I couldn't spare too many, as they're currently too busy destroying the Riderian military

Im not hoping for some major world war over the islands, just a small conflict and a bit of political stuff. I am hoping to be the aggressor, since i am rping a dictator, i am hoping to take over the island for some oil, coal etc and then start a small conflict where guys try to get me to withdraw, but i refuse, so on and so forth.. Well that kinda thing anyway. We will discuss the main thing later once i have filled all the parts.

Ok i dont want to sound agressive nor destroy this "conflict" this is just a oppinion and question i have to Rennd

 

just one question... why is your nation in chaos?

 

Your minister just disappeared... Nobody would find out that fast and actually if something like this happens the government would rather keep it secret for a while then go out to the people and say: "hey guys the ministry of war just disappeared"...

 

Oh and one more thing why is a nation in chaos because the minister of war disappeared? I would rather imagine that this would happen if the president would disappear and even then the government wouldnt go out with it right after.

In terms of you're query, its not a newsthread, it is a story, a story of only kane. Nobody knows what is going on in the public anyway, as people are not aware of this. However people are aware of killings of those who oppose drogogli, so if the rumours did get round that the minister is missing, (not saying anyone else knows) then i am sure the public will assume that the he disobeyed drogogli And yes it is being kept a secret. Even if they did find out aboit it, noone would do anything. Sure they would want to, but the dictator doesn't actually allow free speech or protesting. Its a country where the dictator executes and eliminates anyone who opposes him, like saddam hussain or hitler if you will.

 

In terms of why "the nation is in chaos" this is just a line i wish to end with for all of my posts that i post. The nation is not in chaos because the minister of war disappeared, just because it is in chaos... it is run by a dictator, (Although i am planning to have a plot of him being executed by athiests soon after this war and so ending the dictatorship )

 

Once again, i thank you for your criticism, it is most welcome, and don't worry i am not a person who gets offended easily.

Was a little confused, who is occupying the island then? Is it one of us, or a whole bunch of us with our own little bases and stuff there?

 

Because of this, I made my post somewhat ambiguous so I don't alter the story.

Everyone has little bases there but noone actually owns the island as such.

 

For example you have a research colony, tag is fishing there, kant has emissiries there.

You each have small bases, for different purposes.

 

There is however amidst this, a company who has oil and coal mining industries there, which rennd wants, a small section of the island is dedicated to this. We could decide on locations, e.g. tag may be looking for ancient fish west of the island, and you may be researching stuff east of it. However I haven't specified which country owns this company, or if any country owns it all. If a country wants to own them, then please state otherwise these companies can just be "enemies" owned by the island inhabitants, either way is fine for me.

hey rennd can we do that a small town in that island requested for assylum and that i can go rescue them? Like military forces have been fighting around the town and they are desperate for help... like that kinda stuff...

 

and "rebels" try to stop me helping them but i still manage to save em?

We, however, have no problem sending troops. A few Riderian divisions could hold the entire Ide Army for months. Unfortunately our great leader has exams now. The recent crisis has shown he needs to improve his communication.

 

Edit: Hmm, also Dragonryders are approaching. A handful of pitchfork-wielding peasants pose more of a thread than the Ide Jimans could ever deploy.
