Dragonryders
The official part of the reinstallment of the Empire of Dragonryders has been completed, but so far, no succesful contact has been established with any nation. Eager to find out whether their neighbours are friendly or not and if they made any progress in the last 1000 years, scouts have been searching the surrounding lands. After all scouts returned after 5 months of fruitless effort, the wise Emperor decides to prepare for a major expedition to the East, to the city of Gods, rumored to be located there where the sun emerges every morning. Leaders of Nations: Just grip in whenever you think it's logical. Link to comment
Orioni
Sweet dude. I used part of your story in one of our historical role-plays as well. Also seeking a forgotten and lost land where the sun rises. The history I'm writing when I have a free minute partly revolves around an unknown folk coming from the east and settling on the island my nation inhabits. Link to comment
Dragonryders
Hm, sweet. Me shall read instantly. Link to comment
Orioni
For the moment, after reading it, I have the feeling there is not much room for others to add something. Having Aki's fleet sail by and 'discover' your nation would seem a bit odd if the setting is now. Is your nation still the same as you described here and there? Link to comment
Dragonryders
It's the same. Stuck in Medieval times, steering dragons through the air, bronze is the most expensive metal. I have the feeling some cultural differences will occur any way it goes... I haven't really thought anything out, except that I must find contact with any other Nation. That's the mission now. Ide Jima
Heading east? The first nation you would meet is either me or Haken. We could RP your expedition meeting an Ide Jiman border post or something Link to comment
Adaptus
I would love to take part in this some how. Maybe a satalite of mine picks up large scale movment as you head east. Where we then send some people over to ivestage, and open relations. Link to comment
Emakera
Well, if you?re going "where the sun emerges every morning", you?ll probably aim for the Orioni island, the most oriental place in Europa. Well, for i?m the puppeteer of an eastern nation, i have to say that i?d be cool for your nation?s scouts to drop by Emakera, since a nice role-play could take part... after all, a nice part of our population would shriek at the mere sight of dragons. Dragonryders
Maybe the large group could split into many, each heading a slightly different way, so there would be many different encounters. I haven't thought anything up in advance, so as long as noone slaughters the expedition, all is fine. Link to comment
Haken
Sure, suck all the fun out of it. ... What if I just inflict some eaternal injuries? Link to comment
Dragonryders
Okay, okay. You may (accidently) shoot once or twice in their general direction, if you must...... But I need at least one to stay alive to report to the Emperor about your hostility and your weak spot, which shall be gloriously exploited soon after, which will expand the Restored Empire by four times it's original size. If that's what you want... Link to comment
Ide Jima
Is it ok if we shoot you under the impression you're Riderian? The splitting up idea sounds fun though Link to comment
Orioni
How nice to see everyone is up for this. @ DR: Do you take the geography into account? Flying east would mean you'd reach that large mountainsrange. If your dragons fly south of it, and 'refuel' at the lake there. There is a chance you'd be able to meet Bhalman first: some fishing boats or things like that. After that, you have two choices: (1) follow the coast untill you reach Bashovia and Erbery, or (2) follow that plain north untill you reach southwestern Haken. That thing that looks like a valley would seem like an ideal route to follow. Link to comment

Some will want to go straight east, while others will want to avoid the mountains. Link to comment
Dragonryders
Gero's group is approaching Haken and the Duke is above the sea to the north of Bhalman, at the round lake. If anyone feels like replying; be my guest. You can use this for reference: Dragonryders Tech Level, which will basically tell you the Dragonryders are at a late-medieval technological level. (I have no plans for the characters and they were made up just for this rp.) Sketch of dragon + rider (with luggage) http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/949/dragonsketch7as.gif The dragons are omnivorous and are carefully trained to only eat people on command. They do not spit fire and won't pay much attention to any humans other than their master. >IC< Link to comment
Vocenae
Heh, they think common trash is a extraordinary find. Anyways, I'd love to get involved with this DR, but I'm the second or so most northern nation in the region... Link to comment
Rennd
Im following you're roleplay at the moment. Its truely wonderful. You have a natural flair for roleplaying. If the map coordinators approve of my request, i will be situated in plot no 81 inbetween ide jama and pirilao. I was wondering if i could play a small part in this. Our country is not fully established yet and really it has no government etc. It is just a bunch of small towns with huts (No pizza huts though.mmm: ) situated in the middle of nowhere near a bunch of high mountains Religion and environment are both priorities. Defence is also a priority as we are surrounded by many super powers. I was hoping that the expedition could meet some of our archbishops on the way. The mountains could be used for roleplaying too, as they can be a remote and dangerous place full of landslides etc. I would like you to let me play a small part, and atleast contribute to making the already great roleplay even greater. Adaptus
DR, i'd love to take part too. What if one of my new satilites picks up a large formation traveling eastwards, and we deside to examine it with a small force of about 20-40 troops. I have designed a travel route for the Adaptons below. Oh and we wont shoot any drogons down or anything. We wont be hostile. http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/954/tempmap1fa.gif Link to comment
Miiros
Well, if they ever fly far enough east to reach Miiros, I'd be happy to participate. I wonder how they'd react to the Free City, if a plastic bottle fascinates them. =P Link to comment
Dragonryders
@Rennd: Thank you very much. We'll have to come up with something (slightly) logical to include you, ofcourse. @Adaptus: Could you "carpool" Vocenae there, somehow? Perhaps there's some Vocenae political prisoner that you would like to export to some uninhabited region, or make it a cooperative operation? Anyways, if you think it's Adaptus' responsibility to keep track of what's going on in the deserts of the south, you are more than welcome to write something, as is anyone. Link to comment
Adaptus
cool, i'd love to join. I had an idea for something like on Aliens Vs Predator. Where we find something big via satalite, and want to send in an expadition before anyone else. Link to comment
Dragonryders
I say: Green light, go for it, you have to okay-to-go signal, write at will, permission granted, access unlocked, etc. etc. An impression of a city in the Restored Empire: Edited May 24, 2006 by Dragonryders (see edit history) Link to comment
Orioni
What do those rings do or stand for? Is it some sort of social divide? Just wondering. Link to comment
Italgria
Dragonryders you can fly over Italgria if you want to. We wont be hostile i guess *rolling eyes* Link to comment
