Damak Var
Hello, I am the megalomaniac Emperor of the Empire of Damak Var. A Facist Police State. Control of the nation is centered around the Emperor and his two Councils. Books, Movies, Videos, Literature, Artwork, and Songs created by the people must be government approved before citizens are allowed to release it into the public. The mighty Emperor has also banned symbols and actions relating to religion from the public. Religion must be discussed and practiced in religious places such as churches and mosques or in private areas. Religious leaders are banned from teaching teachings that degrade the good image of the Empire and Emperor and\or contradict the teachings of the State. All religious scriptures contradicting the will of the State must be revised or destroyed. Random house searches are done by the Law Enforcement agencies to locate and confiscate contraband material and detain those who posses them. There is a 10:00 pm - 4:00 am curfew, civilians outdoors during these times who do not have the official permit to be out at these times will be detained for questioning. Damak Var has an excellent and large military force, but wishes peace with its neighbors. However they will not hesitate to make war if needed. I am trying to create an example of idea government for you all that will bring order and stability to your own nation. Glad to be a member of Europa. Rekamgil
Welcome; sorry I haven't replied until now. Glad to see you here... feel free to get your feet wet in the role-play section. Ask us any questions you like. Those of us whose names are in blue are members of the government and are all willing to answer any questions, big or small.... Have fun. ย BTW: I was once toying with a motto like: "My people believe what I tell them"... that would probably have fitted well in your nation! Link to comment
