The "Regional Influence" in My Nation page

The "Regional Influence" ranking/classification appears in My Nation page....on the upper right part of the page, opposite to the "Location" classification.

 

Can anyone tell me? What's the meaning of this classification/ranking ????

What's the criteria? Done by whom ? and How do we change it???
