Nan Gorgwaith
If anyone wants to make a new banner, I have given in. All those pretty shiny banners floating around in the forum have gotten to me. I made a quick one out of the stuff I had, but the darn thing is so grainy and not so pretty. It reminds me of an out-of-focus picture. Â Let's see, I was envisioning one with my flag or a redesigned version of my flag, incorporated into the upper left like it is already. The flag has a black Imperial German (Iron) Cross with a skull superimposed over it. The flag is red with black and white stripes on the edges. The Europa symbol should be somewhere, perhaps below my flag or opposite on the upper right. I wanted to keep a version of the slogan The Land of Nan Gor-Gwaith Welcomes You. I have that also translated into a rune font that I can provide when I figure out where I put it. Â As for the body of the banner, I really like Orioni's (the background looks like a cross between Star Wars and the Mosques in Istanbul) and Pirilao's banners. They give remind me of a spectrum or snapshot of their nations. Hmm, I can provide stuff to be included or if someone wants to read my mind and attempt to construct one, be my guest. Here is an explination of my thought process when I made my original: Â The current selection of pictures I have are a seaport one to show my main port (pic from Istanbul), a really cool building with nifty architecture as a capital (Ottawa, Canada capital building I think is what it is), a statue of Nan Gorgwaith's 2nd ruler (as portrayed by Ceasar Augustus), a beautiful picture of a valley with snowcapped mountains (Germany), and a representation of our national animal (Undead Dragon). Â Anyway, enough of my rambling. If anyone needs any more information, let me know. Um, good luck? Link to comment

That's easy. 2. Which symbol do you mean? The real one, or ours with the lion and the bull? 3. Sure, just try and upload that font somewhere, and we'll see what can be done. I've laready got an old Germanic font, if you're interested. 4. Thanks. 5. Linking to the stuff you want would be helpful. That bigger you have the images, the easier to work with. (And the better the result.) Link to comment

Has anyone superimposed that over the real EU background in a banner? Perhaps have the background with crest take up the right 1/8 of the banner or something. That might look good or it might be too crowded.  3. Give your old germanic font a try, I like old languages  4. You're welcome.  I can send all of the images to Imageshack after work and post the links if that is what you mean. Let me know if this is acceptable.. Link to comment
Nan Gorgwaith
Here are the links to some of the images that can be used. If anyone else has any others they think would work better, go ahead and give it a try. Nan Gorgwaith is a dictatorship, but politics are not to be promoted. So images of landscapes, trade (shipping, rail) history & culture, and architecture are prefered in order to help tourism. Nan Gorgwaith
Ooh I like, especially the last since it is hard for me to read the others. Â Is there a way to make it a little bit taller, or would that go over the file size limit? Â The old Europa crest works well with our national symbol of the dragon and the royal house symbol of the cross and skull. Link to comment
Dragonryders
Small be lookin' slick! Â I want to make banners small. It looks nifty and doesn't dominate as quickly. Banners I produce will range from 50 to 70 pixels height. Link to comment
Nan Gorgwaith
It does look slick doesn't it? Â I will try it on later tonight after I unpack some more boxes. Link to comment
