Not poor, but come on 1200 bombers? Most countries buy planes in lots of about 12. It is not just a matter of cost. It is a matter of storage, fueling, arming, maintenance, crewing etc.

I also think, might I add, that Adpt's prices are a little on the low side.

.

Come on! 8 squadrons of bombers. That doesen't take too much in cost. I buy my airforce in 1 peace. So what? I have had lots of time to build airforces and other arming industries. + that i have foreign arms-industry investements from Vickers.

Come on in RL Denmark-countries buy 12 bombers, they have 5 million inhabitants, I've got a biiit more.

Ok, the Valkyrie, was an experimental aircraft, developed by the US, I just fused it with the B-58 Hustler. acoarding to the site in which I took the stats from, it cost 12.4 million for the US to produce a Hustler. So in essance, your getting it cheaper

Then Hustler was Built in 1956. The Price you are quoting is 1956 dollars...which were worth a lot more than today.

Today's prices? Well an F-22 is estimated at costing c.US$85 Million a plane.

A B-52 (first built in 1955, I think) has a unit cost of about US$30 Million. This is not including all the up grades through its service life.

Again none of these figures include service, equippping etc.
