World War Role Play

Anyone interested in starting a large scale conflict, with multiple factions? I am curious as to see who is on who's side when it comes down. Perhaps a Cold War RP turned hot maybe? If you wanted to, this can take place after Suv's and Mine RP's.

 

 

I propose that there be Three Factions. Most notably LT and The Alliance, CIS, and Me. I am the only real Anarchist state, so I am the Odd man out really.

No nukes is a standard policy here...we've had "problems" in the past.

I'd be in, and I agree no nukes if simply that we could level Europa fairly fast.

 

Upper Stathyclyde, I am taken aback. Although I do form temporary alliances and may shift toward one side on a given issue, in terms of a large scale war, Deltannia would probably not choose sides. It goes with its history of slight isolationism, no real binding treaties and such. If the war were on an issue, I would, but if it were between various alliances, I would not take sides.

I am not saying yes. Depends on my time and such. I suggest we get the other rps finished up before anything else happens. That includes the medieval one. Which, of course, you're welcome to join.

Upper Strathyclyde would get pwned in Medival Warfare, simply because we sucked at war anyways back then. Lol.

Hmm, my military consists of a bunch of guys armed with butter knives right now, so a world war would suck for me. I would, however, love to manufacture things and trade with every faction and make a killing while you guys bomb the hell out of eachother. XD If you're really nice to me, I might even agree to let one of you guys get tired of me selling to the enemy and seize the Free City for your own use. I'd get to play a nice insurgent role then and I have over a billion people to do it with. The military might suck, but firearms are legal for private citizens and corporations aren't going to sit around while some weird foreigners sieze all their capital. =P

That would be nice. I'm thinking that my government will change soon, Suverina might be a back-stabbing bastard constantly changing sides in a war. Although I'm small I'd be in.

But as for a cause, how about the war in Bhalman acting as 'the final straw'. Something that starts out similar to Deltannia, but fast deteriorates into large scale conflict. Bhalman gets his war, we get ours!

 

Were we to have a world war, we would need a lot of threads - maybe even a whole forum, given the possible different theatres of war.

@ Us: My IC government would just like to inform you that, should your govenment try anything funny on the land just to the south of us (on the new map), the empire will trade embargo the free anarchy so hard, that the stone age will seem like a far and distant future again.

 

@ All: As said elsewhere, I feel nukes should be banned. But I guess I'm in the minority with such a statement. According to NS info, the uranium industry is very powerfull in my country, so I feel I should be able to use it for energy and military vessels; but I feel my nation also reserves the right to not distribute it. Of course, that's all RP, so we'll see what happens.
