Today the president of Italgria has anounced that the government will abolish they're law that was not allowing business to come into Italgria. All government parties agreed 96% to 4% to abolish the law. The president Mario Alfonsini explained this decission to be the best for the fragile economy and that it was the only right choice to lower the amazing 25% of unemployment rate in Italgria. Italgria Posted March 23, 2006 Author Posted March 23, 2006 (edited) Bank assault in Bellaria INN Newsflash Today around 4:32 PM a small group of five masked men between twenthy-four and thirthy-five assaulted the National Bank of Italgria, right after the Bank had received a gold bar transport, worth around 320 Million Euros. The five men were heavily armed and well organized. It seemed they had planed this action for months. This pictures were taken by the surveilance cameras: The SWAT team which was alarmed by a bankworker who could escape unseen, managed, after failed negotiations, to storm the bank and heavily wound 1 men, injured 2 and the other 2 where arrested. There have been no casualties on the SWAT aswell as the Hostage side. This was the first bank attack registered since 16 months. The decission was hard and after three rounds the jury had decided who would be Miss March 2006. It was the young Amy Tevere who received the price. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Italgria's government sends 2000 delta troops and medical equipment to Rhomanoi Yesterday around 1PM the governemnt of Italgria had decided at a public press meeting that it would send 2000 delta troops and medical equipment to Rhomanoi. Many other nations are involved in the aiding of Rhomanoi after it had been hit by storm Hannibal which destroyed a lot of Rhomanoi's infrastructure. Italgria Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) Unemployment Rate falls to amazing 14.05% Today the monthly unemplyment Rate was made public to the nation of Italgria. The president was highly proud of having managed to lower the unemployment rate from 27.59% to 14.05% in just six months. The following was agreed on: The Double Entente ?1 Both nations shall help each other under any circumstances given ?2 Both nations will have an economic agreement. Meaning there will be facilitated trading between both nations. ?3 Both nations have agree to open military bases in each others nations. This is to be able to react faster to any conflict aswell as having a wider range of military influence. ?4 Both nations have agreed on providing a set amount of resources, raw materials and arms to each other. The monitoring of this trade will be left up to a new association, the ISTD. It will be operated by both Italgrian and Suverinian workers. ?5 Both nations have decided to virtually getting the borders away between each other. This decission was taken by a proposal of General Jennifer Wu who said, "We should spend more. But not just on exploration. We should start developing Orbital Weapons! Space Marines! Armed Spacecraft! We would rule the region, and look cool doing it! Just divert some funding from environmental protection, and BAM! Sci-fi goodies!" The government was not pleased to admit than in the last three months the unemployment rate raised by 13% arriving at a new high of 18.84%. This means that 74.606.400 million people in Italgria are jobless. The government opposition explains this by the hard law that firms are facing to fire and to hire new employees. On the other hand the government has announced it would be introducing one Euro jobs and explained that the unemployment was mainly cyclical and structural type. Laws against the increasing unemployment rate are already been discussed at the moment in the High Chamber of Legistlation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Inflation rate on the rise Inflation rate already in the mid of October has exceeded the 2.3% prediction set by the Chamber of Commerce at the beginning of the year. Thanks to well-informated anonymous sources we know that the new predicted inflation at the end of the year will be around 3.4%. The government is not willing to react to this information neither give an official press conference to it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Euro at straight fall Italgria's Euro keeps going down unstoppable. At the beginning of this year it was at 1.12 Euros for 1 Dollar but recent events have caused 1 Dollar to cost 2.3368 Euros. The government shows itself optimistic about the upcoming months, expecting the unemployment rate to fall to 5%. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Economy develops into a Powerhouse says Max Barry Max Barry a well known and extremely smart economist around the world has taken Italgria's economy under the lupe. He has been watching the growth of the economy since last year now and is saying that Italgria's economy is developing in a Powerhouse. The main reason he states, is the new laws which lowered unemployment rate by 10%. This boosted up Imports, Exports and the productivity of firms and he is pleased to see how the money collected from taxes goes for the wealth of the citizens. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Riots in Bellaria because of tax rate level Today a riot of almost 2/3 of Bellaria's population raised against the government, protesting against the 100% tax level imposed by the government. "The tax situation in Italgria is ridiculous," says Akira Barry at the protest. "The taxes keep getting piled on and yet - I haste to add - the government doesn't seem to realise that with a 100% tax rate, they already have all our money! We've been reduced to bartering for goodness sake! I haven't seen a euro in years! It's bad for Italgria, but more importantly, it's bad for business. Even if it does mean less education, healthcare, and whatnot." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Inflation rate under control Today the government announced that the high inflation rate is retrocessing and is finally again under control by the government. The predictions moved down again and economists are happy to see the Euro rise again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Euros stabilizes again Reports from the trade office today at 8:00 AM made clear that the Euro has stabilized and is finally pushing down the dollar again. The rate that was at 2.3 Euros for 1 Dollar finally is the past. The Euro has stabilized thanks of the new laws and increasing economic power. 1 Euro now is 1.1329 Dollars. This is the best rate registered in Italgria since ages.

Today our unnamed and trusted sources have sent us pictures about the state of Suverinas so called Volkssturm and Home Defense. We must say that it some pictures are not suitable for all eyes and that some will be shocked. As you can see their defense is in a poor state and we must assume that Suverina treaths its army like if they did not have the basic needs like eating (picutre 2) In comparisson we show you the state of our defense army. Our defense army is mainly equipped with Tactical Ops 5.56mm Rifles and they have everything they need and are highly efficient killing machines. OOC: Credits to Suv for editing the pictures. Suverina Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 (edited) this is only a pathetic try of the Italgrians to make us look bad, most nations know that we have a special national defense program that makes every citizen obliged to take part in the defense of our nation. Every child between 12 and 18 gets to practice shooting, grenade throwing and so on in school so that they can if they have to take part in our defense. If that ould skinny lady is a suverinian citizen she must have lived in an isolated village in the mountains, where our socialprograms haven't been able to get a foothold because of the lack of population and infrastructure. And how well would modells with 25 IQ handle a war situation? They would just shoot around themselves probably hitting more of their own then of the enemys soldiers.
