Right - here's the jist of the plan thus far.

 

A large winter storm will hit Rhomanoi, causing all the usual death, mayhem, destruction etc etc etc. There are a few questions I think I need answered, in order to make this a good RP.

 

1) s3.invisionfree.com/UN_Organizations - here be UN Organizations (obviously). Now, I intend to ask the IRCO for aid. Do I do that, or do I have to get the delegate to do that for me?

 

2) Are there any aid bodies already established within Europa that can also send aid?

 

3) Any other points you can recommend to help make this RP as best as poss?

I think, that what you have that to make: he is simply to declare been

of calamity publishes, and to ask for humanitarian aid to the peoples

of the EUROPA.

The Commonwealth of Independent Systems is, Possibly, the largest Aide Giving Organisation, having aided in both Rekamgil/US Terror Attacks, as weel as the Deltannian Civil War and the Tigger Growlia Flu incident. The CISSF, or Commonwealth of Inpendent Systems Social Fund is for dislocated Families. We'd probably help you out greatly.

Concerning point number one, I had no idea such a thing existed! I've no idea how such a system may work. That board doesn't look very active, as its only got 2,000 posts (compare that to our board ). It may be best to keep it purely with in this region, as otherwise it may confuse matters. Interregional roleplays are also fairly hard to coordinate, due to discrepancies in acceptable tech-levels, etc. Some one here who has experience in this field maybe of more help.

 

To my knowledge, the only working and non-partial (in a way) aid body at the moment is the CIS. As US has stated, they have operated in numerous incidents admirably. The Greater Holy Empire would also play a large role in sending aid to its southern ally, though.

 

About the last thing: I'm not sure. We haven't had a natural disaster RP before. There has been a non-natural disaster before, with a nation's capital exploding. It may warrant a read, but as it wasn't a natural disaster (there was all sorts of politicking going on behind the scenes), it may not be that useful.

 

I'd suggest everyone shouldn't jump on board strait away, have a build up and all the sort of thing.

Thank you. I shall keep it in-region, as I don't want it to get out of hand and escalate into something quite uncontrollable/ridiculous. In any case - I think most people would be happy to help in this region. I don't think I annoyed anyone...?

 

Also, the new UN Resolution means that other countries will be chipping in with Meterological data - at least, that is what the intention seems to be.

Rhomanoi, my nation is extremely friendly against all young members, as they see them as potential LT-members.

It may result in an aid-competition. A bit like after the Tsunami.

 

And wow, wow, Tag, baby, don't forget that one silly alliance you're in! The League of the Treaty is the oldest active alliance that is prepared for such things. But I have to say, we can hardly be called completely neutral, so we're not exactly the aid body Rhomanoi could have in mind. However the "The 9 Points Chapter" clearly states that a Task Force is set up that can also help in natural disasters and it has a special fund against disasters around Europa.

 

I'm not making this up :

IV. To help his goal, a strong task force shall be created, who shall be put in action against disasters, human and nature related. This force will be led by a commander of a member nation and (s)he will be replaced after one month by another nationality.

 

V. Based on economic power and population, each member shall put a financial contribution forward. These resources will be used to help poor members and nations in trouble, member or not.
