Hello ladies and gents,

 

a quick intro to say hello......I'm still finding my feet around here, but liking what I see of Europa so far. Great weather over here and the women are far more attractive than those in the Pacific. My chancellor's will be most pleased.

 

Some background on my little start-up dictatorship:

 

The Armed Republic of Drewitton is a small, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 7 million are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

 

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9%. A healthy private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Information Technology.

 

Elections have been outlawed and military spending recently hit a new high. Crime is a serious problem. Drewitton's national animal is the shark and its currency is the wang.
