Upper Strathyclyde
To: Nations of The World From: CIS US Represenative    Greetings!   In One Week, or Next Weds. The Upper Strathyclyde Government will host a meeting for all interested parties on how best to prevent the Wars currently flaring around Europa, Such as the HM War, and the brewing tensions against Communist nations, from growing out of control again in the future. We hope not only to bring people together, but also to outreach and gain a greater understanding of different nations. We seek to mend the rips in relations between the US and Akiryu and other nations we may have offended during the HM Crisis. All Travelling and Hotel costs will be defrayed 100% by the CIS, and most importantly, we hope to see ambassadors from Major Pol and Bhalaman here as well.  We hope to see you there! Link to comment
Suverina
I guess I personally could attend, but if so I hope that there will be no 'beating' on us socialists as I have seen in the international political arena. Â Link to comment
Orioni
Sounds interesting. Since we'll already be swimming around in those frozen lakes of yours, attending this Peace Summit seems like a good way to warm-up again. Link to comment
Pirilao
TO: CIS US Represenative FROM: PIRILAO Â OK. It starts for reserving a place for me. All what is made in support of the peace is of the interest of my nation. Â Link to comment
Upper Strathyclyde
We are glad to see nations already interested in renwed peace efforts around the globe. We hope to see more CIS Members arrive and we do hope and look forward to seeing Orioni at the summit. They have always been strong supporters of Human Rights Initiatives. Link to comment
Rekamgil
Of course, our attendence goes without saying. We will be there. This government will defray 50% of the travelling and hotel costs, as well as 50% of the administrative costs. Â We would also like to reassure the government of Suverina that all nations, regardless of ideological leaning, will be treated equally by the conference organizers. As the hosting organization, the CIS will ensure that respect and decorum are maintained for all attendees. Edited February 23, 2006 by Rekamgil (see edit history) Link to comment

Ofcourse I could do better things in my country, I have to run it on my own. The rest of the people are fools and in the end its me that have to do everything.  But peace in the region is a very importent subject, so I shall personally go.  Will there be free Vodka? () Link to comment

Upper Strathyclyde
The US Ambassador went to the Center of the Podium, and spoke clearly into the microphone. Â "Ladies and Gentleman. Honoured delegates. We stand upon a great presicpice. War has reached new levels in our time, and is no longer blacck and white with clear enemies. Indeed the recent Rebellion in this country has opened our eyes to the fact that peace is mandatory. There can be no other way. Our population is behind us, and to have peace in our time would be the greatest achievement. As I said we stand at a crossroads. We can take the path of war, and destruction. We could win, but in the end war only serves itself. Or we can take the Road of Peace. To work tirelessly for peace and its maintenance, as the CIS Charter has stated. There are several topics to be discussed, but right now, I will open up the floor for any immediate concerns. If there are none, then I will acknowledge The Tag. Ambassador to brief the Summit on the current events in Deltannia." Link to comment
Rekamgil
The Rekamgil Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (The Secretary himself being at the Nimarci Conference) immediatly rose, "Before the honoured Tagmatium delegate takes the floor, I'd like to add a few further points. First I'd like to acknowledge the Nimarci Conference, at which the Secretary of State is currently attending. We hope that WMD limitation talks will progress satisfactorily. And by that we mean that WMDs will be severely limited. We'd also like to thank the Tagmatium government for allowing CIS relief teams into Deltannia and for facilitating their arrival; such steps speak to that government's willingness to see peaceful talks and peaceful interaction resume. The State department wishes to make known that we'd like to table a motion to discuss the Xheng-Hidaya Miliki situation here at this conference. We do not propose to end that war here, but wish to discuss ways in which further such outbreaks could be avoided. Perhaps this goes right back to trying to deal with imperialism, which is a tough subject, but we'd like to make a few tentative steps. Â This government would also like to extend an invitation. As many of you know, we are member of a new Commonwealth of Independent States. This organization - composed of Rekamgil, Upper Strathyclyde, Vocenae, and the Great United Kingdom - is a new engine for peaceful cooperation in the region. We would ask that all like minded nations read our charter and consider joining the CIS. Interested parties will find the CIS Charter in this dossier. All that is required for membership is that nations agree to uphold an abide by the CIS Charter. We feel that the more nations that join the CIS, the more influential it will be. Membership is open and voluntary, no one is to be excluded providing they agree to the Charter. The CIS is currently operating relief teams in Deltannia and has offered to take in any refugees fleeing the war zone. This is only our first foray into international relief and peace; these will continue and we hope that other nations will agree with our cause and will consider joining us for the furtherence of peace and friendship throughout Europa. Now, I'm sorry for the interruption. I leave the floor to the Tagmatian delegate. Thank you for your attention. Â The Under Sectretary took his seat once more. Suverina
The "great" prince of Suverina steps up to the Podium. Â -I and the whole nation of Suverina wants nothing but peace. We most work to make and maintain peace in the entire region. Although I think that some nations have been advertising their alliances a bit too much. Suverina wish to stand independent, even so Suverina works for peace. Examples for this is that Suverina recently convluded a non-aggression pact and that the army is ONLY training to defend Suverina. Â I think that all WMD should be destroyed, the can easily be miss-used and are very dangerous. If a nations government is couped they new government could have access to the weapon arsenal of the country, extremists could take advantage of the Situation. Â We wish peace to reign through Europa until the end of times. Â Edit: We have right now accepted to sign a non-aggression pact with Upper Strathyclyde. The agreement will benefit both nations and we hope that more nations will sign non-aggression treatys to ensure peace. Edited March 1, 2006 by Suverina (see edit history) Link to comment
Emakera
The foreign minister of Emakera lifted his hand and asked to speak. Â -- Honestly, friendship doesn?t means weakness. If getting rid of our nation?s defenses is necessary to bring peace to all Europa, then i?m sorry to say that wouldn?t happen. As the laying old man says, "If you want peace, be ready for war." We will not get rid of our WMD, so, i beg my pardon for the nation of Suverina." Â He sat down, quietly. Link to comment
Suverina
So you say that you defend your own soil with WMD!?!? I would atleast not drop WMD on my own country. WMD are used for destruction and is does not in any tearm equals with peace. Link to comment
Upper Strathyclyde
The time is not for bickering now. We are going to wait for the Hounored delegate from Tag. to speak, and we will move on to the Nim Conference, and then we shall discuss HM. Link to comment
Emakera
The foreign secretary of Emakera quickly stands up, nervous and pointing into Suverina?s Prince: Â --Lol at your ramblings. Ever heard about Al Capone?s saying, "You get more with a gun and a smile than just with a smile."? It?s like that. We need protection and we need to persuade. And about the "dropping WMD in your country", keep that arrogant stance and we?ll do this for you. Â He sat down, angrily, and then added: "Proceed. I?ll keep my mouth quiet by now." Link to comment
