Brawandi
***News flash*** Rebels in the north of Brawandi seized two towns, and the Presidential Guard was called in. It seems this extremists have gathered enough supporters to begin a revolution! Some people have no respect for a democratically elected government. The Brawandian National Security Departement (BNSD) beleives that this revolution was a plan by Wibilla "Billy" Koniba. He always favoured dictatorship above democracy. More to come in the next few days. Link to comment
Justin III
Mozgravian officialls in the Ministry of International Condemnation were quick today to condemn the Brandwanian rebels, as condemning is the sort of thing that they are good at doing. Fighting - no. Condemning - yes. Justin III offers his support and a significant amount of Mozgravian newstime to the Brandwanian government. Hurrah! Link to comment
blue_oceania
The government of Blue Oceania is concerned about the present situation in Brawandi. We also expect a stream of refugees in case of continuos fighting and started with preparations. Blue Oceania is not a UN member, but we advise the government of Brawandi to rely on international diplomats for a solution of the current conflict. Flights and Travels to Brawandi have been cancelled until we have new informations about safety in the region. Link to comment
Theocracy of the invisible
Upon hearing the news the theocracy of the transparent declared a day of morning for the attempted murder of Brawandi democracy. On questioning of this unusual move the Archpriest responded "I need a day off to do my shopping." As a result of this odd statment it was decided to lend moral support and a contigent of well funded greengrocers to help any caught in the cross fire. Link to comment
Brawandi
The President thanks his collegues for the support he gets, but he regrets to confirm 2 cities fell under rebel control today. This is a sad day for our nation. Link to comment
Ivan
The Eastern Federation of Enutrof is monitoring the situation closely. The enormous nation of Brawandi is in a state of chaos, the government has fallen to anarchy. "Democracy" seems a simply tossed around term, but the land is virtually lawless. The Federation's position on the seizure remains unknown to other nations. Their official statement is as follows: From Ivan, Supervisor of the Federation of Enutrof: "The government seems to have lost it's grip on the nation, and we are monitoring it's border with utmost interest, as such a gargantuan nation has attracted a large amount of business from the Federation. The value of the Brawandian pound is plummetting as anarchy envelopes cities not 100 miles from the capitol. We are not sure if the government, or what there is left of one, can retake the seized cities. Investigative units from Enutrof are currently corresponding with the insurrection leader, Wiblilla Konba." Link to comment
blue_oceania
The Government of Blue Oceania is concerned that the war in Brawandi could sweep over the borders into neighboring countries. However... we make clear that we won't offer any military support in any way. Civil aid (food, water, medicaments, etc.) is being prepared and will be on the way as soon as the situation in Brawandi is more stable again. The neighbors of Brawandi will be supported in building camps for the growing number of refugees. We are still negotiating about that and further actions. It's important that a solution to the conflict is found on the basis and with the support of all members of Europa. Link to comment
Brawandi
The situation seems to be stabilising. The rebels pulled back, and their leader is prepared to negotiate with the President. Rumours spread the rebels are prepared to cease fire. But these rumours are just that, rumours. They haven't been officially confirmed, nor denied. The President also declared his concerns, and said he will take the necesary measures to prevent this conflict to spread to neighbouring countries. Link to comment
Ivan
In a surprise move, Wibilla Konba withdrew his control over the cities and wishes to negotiate with the Brawandi Central Government's President. As a result, the interest of the Enutrofi government fades, but as a statement from Supervisor Ivan says, he wishes to observe these negotiations. "We wish to know more of what the government of Brawandi can do to fix the situation, supplying what these cities, among others, need to continue functioning. Konba has perhaps gone about the wrong way to address the paper-thin spreading of the Brawandi government, but we are interested in how this shall be addressed, and wish to send a crew of diplomats to monitor the situation. They will be unarmed, and there exclusively for observation." Rumor has spread from within Brawandian borders that one of the Enutrofi military bases close to the border has become more active lately, but no further proof of this is available. Link to comment

Orioni
The situation in Brawandi came to attention during the last meeting of the UN Security Council. Delegates from around the globe were disappointed that the fragile peace in Brawandi was broken by these rebels. Secretary-general mr. Cappuccino Annan expressed his wishes for a peacefull settlement of the conflict, though he fears this will not happen. The representative for Europa, dr. Chandra Pristo from the Empire of Orioni, hopes civilian casualties will be as few as possible. Dr. Pristo suggested de European UN-members could send a peaceforce to Brawandi. Link to comment
Vanarambaion
Foreign Minister and Acting Emperor of Vanarambaion, Marshal Christoph Tinsman would request the current status of the Brawandian civil war. Several divisions of the massive Vanarambaion Army has been mobilized to reinforce the border patrol, and stand ready at the borders to enforce Vanarambaion's neutrality until more information arrives on the situation. Brawandi
Our glorious President understands the worries of Marshall CT, especially since both our countries have been attacked by terrorist organisations. This morning the president condemned the assasination of General Van Helsing, and expressed his compassion to the people of Vanarambion. However, the rebel troops have been very quiet lately... maybe to quiet Link to comment

Klopstokia
Our radar stations traced a small airplane, flying from Vanaram heading a course of 100 degrees. To the east. Because we don't accept air traffic over our territory without our approval, actions were taken. The plane was asked to identify, but did not answer the call. Klopstokian fighter planes were sent to identify the object, but it then turned back to Vanaramboing. According to the speed, it must have been a small bussiness jet. Link to comment
Lesser_Palestine
The government of Lesser Palestine has issued a stern warning to any rebel forces that intend to use its territory beyond its shared border with Brawandi as a staging area or base of operations. A representative of the Sunni Islamic Socialist Party has stated that it will be accepting non-combatant refugees in designated relief camps that have been set-up as part of its growing commitment to foreign aid. Though not a member of the United Nations, it has requested member states in Europa to assist in safeguarding those fleeing hostile action in the country of Brawandi. Negotiations between the elected government of Brawandi and the SISP have yet to occur. Link to comment

Chairman Joaquin
the Armed Republic of Ekainak will begin preparations to send in military observers to monitor the tumultous situation within Brawandi. We guaranty the purpose of this mission is devoid of territorial or political aims and done simply to disclose to the world the true nature of the conflict, and who is responsible for any atrocities, if the government of Brawandi would like to protect its reputation it would be wise to allow us in to your country. The number of Military Advisers would number 30 men and women of our armed forces. We are also attempting to contact the rebel leadership and open channels for reconsiliation.
