With the Voice of His Most Divine and Eternal Emperor, We speak to you, concerning the founding of Our Most Holy Empire of Ueberheim in Europa.

After having heard the gracious and polite words of the Regional Senator, Tagmatium, who was, by his very politeness, most convincing, We have accepted to found Our realm in your hegemonial sphere.

We would like to make it known that Our Most Holy Empire of Ueberheim offers our hand in friendship to all, respecting any trait of politics, culture, or view of life, yet do not permit any foreign intrusion in Our Illuminated Empire, Origin and Centre of All that Is as was Made Manifest in the Holy Order.

As We believe our Illustrious Empire shall attract those who are deemed Worthy, We do not believe in warfare or agression, and shall refrain from harsh language and impolite suggestions; nor would We burden you with information on the Magnificent Centre, unles We are asked about it first.

On behalf of His Most Divine and Eternal Emperor, We extend Our hand in welcome.

OOC: (Am I required to put 'IC' and 'OOC' in front of what I say? Is it fashionable?)

Many thanks for your reactions. As has been commented by some novel users before, this forum (and the region it is about) seems to be on the whole quite user- and newbie-friendly, and I hope I will be able to contribute in this.

I've just started playing this game/simulation (what is it?), and have as yet little knowledge about the scope of it all, especially with regards to the issues of roleplaying, such as the necessity of playing your nation in a more formalized context (such as the UN-resolutions I saw drifting through my screen); I am, however, a veteran Diplomacy player, with special house-rules on the mentality of different nations in that game, so I hope I'll be able to get the gist soon.

With regard to Ueberheim, I hope to give it a flair of a somewhat pharaonic state based on the concept of one proper order, and if people would like to, I could write some information on what I would like the nation to be down here.

As of now I do not have an enormous amount of spare time, so I guess I won't be able to frequent the forum very often; I hope you could bear with this.

Edit (I seem to be needing them a lot): No, sorry, my command of Portuguese is insufficient to be able to write (extensively) in it.

And of course, on behalf of Our Most Serene and Holy Emperor, We thank His Royal Highness Prince Vox, and will name Him in Our Blessings.

Well, it depends whether you are talking IC (In-Character) or OOC (as yourself). This area really is to introduce yourself and your nation, and you can do this how you wish. You can write some information about you nation if you want, I'd personally find it interesting. It's always good to have a nice, unique feel to one's nation, especially as it often does make good reading/rp'ing.

Some people consider the UN to be rather foolish, churning out some frankly ridiculous resolutions. It does pay to be in the UN if you can, as endorsing the region's UN delegate makes the region stronger, but this is a whole lesson in itself.

OOC: On the behalf of the U.S. Army....

WHASSUP?

Anywho, ask anyone who's got history here, about my nation's 'style'...we should get along alright, barring any anti-medicinal-marijuana research aggression.
