Favourite ... Film

I thought I would ask what people?s favourite films were, but then I thought about asking about a different film genre each week. Therefore this week I would like to ask? What are your favourite War films? I would qualify this by saying films such as Gladiator, Troy & Alexander are excluded on grounds that these films are Epics and not war films.

 

I would nominate: A Bridge Too Far, Cross of Iron, Full Metal Jacket and Zulu.

Their the ones that come to mind, but usually any war film from the 60s,70s
