I for one am glad that England lost, it is my experience that the English are a somewhat arrogant bunch of people. Having said that I would have to say that it is generally the Southern English, "Middle Englanders", and the toffs that are by far the worse. Northerners, Midlanders and the generally educated English are a fine bunch of people and I count many of these people my friends.

Well, Germany is lucky...we don't have to go through qualification...if we had to, it's more than possible that the World Cup in Germany would be without Germany...after those terrible games...

But hey - we don't have to. So we can go on everybodys' nerves with terrible football and again reach the finals... wink.gif

Big Sam Allardyce has let it be known he'd like the job. W00t!

@Hak.

It is a shame that the only team to have qualified through competition for evey single World Cup so far will not be there. Still a record to be proud of. The only other nations to have been to every single one did so by winning sometimes. Only Belgium got there by playing for it every time.

Dear Scipii

The point of view is not this.

It is that 1? time in the history of the FIFA WORLD CUP that this happens.

3 countries of Portuguese language to be classified.

P.S. I do not want to make comparisons, I am clearly that the Portuguese loses for the English. betm13.gif

Aw Come on! Havn't you seen those 'not only am I perfect but I'm Welsh' T-shirts. Surely you can't say that we're arrogant having come from somewhere which makes T-shirts with things like that written on.

Oh I do apologise. I did not realise that one t-shirt slogan was on a par with some eight hundred years of English imperialism, invading other countries and imposing the English culture and language upon the indigenous population. dry.gif
