OOC: TCN have you considered that a nation of your size only has limited resources? At the moment you talking like TCN armed like the US - which, simply put, is an impossibility. You need to start acting realistically in relation to your military capabilities.

 

Likely, by the way isn't good enough. I also doubt other nations are going to tell you where their military assets are.

We are also concerned with the incompetence of The Chosen Nations regime in its capacity to remain consistent in its policies.

OOC: I am not just talking about your nukes here (which btw in themselves would probably be rather difficult for TCN to manufacture etc) but also your references to you highly developed military capacities. While I recognise you might just be blowing hot air to scare people off, realism is an importnt issue in rp. Let's talk about this is the OOC area.

OOC: TCN, please use common sense. Most large nations are going to have access to the nuclear option, even if for defense purposes only. New nations such as yourself should RP a movement toward developing a nuclear program, rather than arming yourself ridiculously unrealistically.

OOC: TCN, don't get angry here, we're trying to help you develop as a rper. People in the forum will agree that Van and I don't raise these concerns because we want to bully you, but rather because we want to help you.

 

In relation to your comment about Iran - Iran is developing a nuclear program (with a lot of outside help) and a lot of states are pretty damn unhappy about it. It is also committing a huge amount of resources of the program. If you want to have nukes (and all the troubles they bring) rp a development program. As Van said you nation is probably to small to have them at the moment.

Back when TCN and Byzacium were still fledgling nations, and great allies, a plague swept the nation of TCN. Thousands were killed, and out of fear, TCN invaded Byzantium. The invasion was successful, and the plague was contained within TCN. TCN Senate and government was set up in Byzacuim. This government ruled over Byzacium, and what was now the wasteland of TCN. Byzacium was a conqured nation, and had no power.

 

Always hoping that, one day, they may move back into TCN and begin their nation again, the Senate and government began making plans for a retreat of all settlers, armed forces, and returning power to The People of Byzacuim.

 

After a decade of rebuilding, it was clear that TCN needed a strong military force, and began looking for military hardware. To their delight TCN discovered that Byzacium, still ruled by TCN, had the capibilties of making Nuke Warheads, Nuke launch sites, and training for the armed forces in how to use them. TCN did not have much money, so it traded these for the one thing The People of Byzacium craved most, indipendance.

 

Byzacium shipped over the aggreed "cargo", and TCN pulled out of Byzacium, to begin again inside the bounderies of their ancient homeland.

The Holy Confederacy of Vanarambaion will not tolerate another nuclear power in the region due to the obvious implications of rogue nations with Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Vanarambaion Parliament has considered and approved a motion to instate a state of war between the TCN and the Holy Confederacy. Allies have been contacted and troops mobilized.

TCN recognises that it cannot come out on the best side of this proposed war, but alerts Vanarambaion to the so far peaceful negotiation that have been going on. Plesase see the thread entitled TNC......CDC's

Akiiryu will support its ally Vanarambaion. The Southern Fleet is been placed on war footing. Other assets are being mobilised.

 

Akiiryu has informed Ide Jima that it will accept is offer of the use of Ide Jiman Ports and Airbases for refuelling purposes.
