In fairness, your military probably has a lot of defensive plans. They'd be on home turf and operating from an advantage. Your military probably has a good chance at holding out, or at least making the initial attempts at an invasion very difficult. From where you might be located, they'd have to storm the Keelpijp and you'd know they were coming towards you. A lot of it will depend on what the Anglians do once they're in country.
