From the Office of the Economics Minister

To:  Paolo Corana, Minister of Trade of @Queno-Kona

My Ministry received notification of a wide range of goods and resources your fair country requires and a list of products that your manufacturers are making available in exchange. After consulting with several senators, I am happy to convey that they've secured enough votes in the Senate to enable me to move forward on making the following offer: the Republican Trading Corporation will transport 1.5 million tons of iron and titanium per annum and in exchange, we will procure up to 15,000 units of farming equipment and up to 500,000 tons of construction materials. If this seems reasonable, please respond at your earliest convenience and I will relay the relevant instructions to the RTC.

To: Paolo Corana, Minister of Trade of @Queno-Kona

Greetings, Mr. Corana.
Since, up to this point, the interactions between our nations have been a rare sight to behold, my ministry and I think that the best course of action would be to give You a short overview over the economy of the Radiant Republic.

Not unlike Queno-Kona, the economy of the Sunset Sea Islands heavily relies on new industries, such as information technology, robotics and advanced technologies. As a result of our citizens living in dense, urban megalopoleis, as the vast majority of our land is under strict environmental protection, our cities have become hubs of knowledge and science. In recent years we have begun expanding into previously uninhabited badlands to expand our heavy industrial base. Furthermore, our expertise in the field of architecture and construction has surged recently thanks to the discovery of new building materials, such as Elegy Superconcrete. To summarise, the economy of the Radiant Republic is a made up of tourism and the service sector, with the industrial sector growing steadily. With the government adopting several pro-business and pro-productivity stances, economic forecasts predict a long period of growth and prosperity for our nation.

As you might have noticed by now, the sectors in which we specialise, do overlap. However, it has been a core belief for generations in the Sunset Sea Islands, that international relations and cooperation can only lead to mutual benefits. Therefore, we propose to found bilateral research groups and/or joint ventures to profit from our pooled knowledge.

Should this not be satisfactory for You, we can provide software (both professional and entertainment) and construction materials to form healthy trade relations between our nations.

With the utmost respect,
