19:43, Serbia time, Mount Triglav facility

A day had passed and so the Chancellor left Beograd for Mount Triglav facility, the secret and hidden headquarters of the Department of National Safety in the Region of Vojvodina. There, he went through the many secretive checkpoints not openly visible and too subtle for the untrained eye. Once in the tunnel leading to the massive blast doors and barricades staffed with numerous guards, the leader exited the car with his trusty sidearm on his belt, and the always-ready White Eagle bodyguards at his side.

Once past the 10 security checks, from openly armed g-men in camos, to g-men in suits, Milosevic enters the massive, tall ceiling-ed room adorned with electronics, digital maps, and screens. He goes down the metal steps towards the table map, and shakes Stambolic's hand, and his chiefs of staffs' hands.

"What's the national situation, Stambolic?" asked Milosevic

"The people are assaulting and committing crimes against Bosnians in a widespread manner." stated Stambolic.

"Foreign situation?" Milosevic asked begrudgingly inquired.

"More nations have joined the sanctions, and now there's a naval blockade."

"Naval blockade?" Milosevic asked, and then shortly after laughed.

"Yes, but please don't laugh sir. They could conduct a marine invasion." Stambolic concernedly stated

"So what should we do?" Milosevic asked, as he looks down at the ground.

"Get our g-men in National Safety to start rubbing out Bosniaks, thin out the numbers. We could do a widescale operation with the army, but there's no doubt foreign intelligence and press would expose it if we did it quick and fast with the army. At least this way, we have our Department boys getting the work done faster, secret, and quicker anyway. We'll eliminate men, but not women and children." Stambolic idealistically said.

"I assume with the usual method, the Special Conservation Zone?" said Milosevic.

"Yes sir." agreed Stambolic.

"I also implore you to call Jovic at Zvezda News and get them to put a spin on the sanctions, get them to blame our possible economic hardship on the foreigners." added Stambolic.

"I'll get on the line." Milosevic finished.

Prime Minister Guiverdi carefully knocked on the large black door in front of him. After a few seconds the door opened revealing the Grand Duke sitting at a desk in his study, he slowly greeted the guards and sat down opposite of the Grand Duke.

"Get to it, I'd rather get this over with quickly. What do you want?" said the Grand Duke while lighting a cigar.

"It's from the Parliament, we recently approved a resolution regarding the current situation in Greater Serbia and the blockade led by Adaptus." said Guiverdi while he grabbed some papers from a folder.

"And you want me to do what?" said the Grand Duke after coughing up some smoke.

"Just have a look at it. I decided it is probably better to take it to you before it comes into effect in case you might disagree." said the Prime Minister as he handed the papers to the Grand Duke.

Due to the current situation in Greater Serbia the Chamber of the People has agreed to the following which will be in effect from 3 PM ACT, 22 July 2018.

  • Limonaia will cease all relations with Greater Serbia, Greater Serbian citizens will be deported as well as diplomatic staff and Limonaian citizens are highly advised to leave the country as soon as possible. All Limonaian diplomatic staff in Greater Serbia will be withdrawn.

  • Any assets owned by Greater Serbian companies or citizens will be seized by the Limonaian state, there will however be a 78 hour period where any assets can be withdrawn from Limonaia before they are seized, in order to allow for companies/individuals to keep their items if removed quickly.

  • Limonaia will join the current blockade of Greater Serbia lead by Adaptus and commit a minimum of 3 Frigates to the cause.

After the document the Grand Duke disposed of his Cigarette while Guiverdi anxiously awaited a response.

"Normally I wouldn't approve of interfering in someone else's private affairs no matter how horrid, however since things are so... Strained back home I think it might help the image of the monarchy if I commit to this. Consider it approved" he said, handing the paper to Guiverdi.

"Thank you your Majesty! I'll make sure the foreign ministry sends out the appropriate messages." They shook hands and Guiverdi was escorted out of the Grand Duke's Palace.

In the early hours of the working day, President Ali Al-Karim was sitting in his office alone working diligently on his computer, when suddenly one of his advisers came into the room.

"Sayidi , hunak 'akhbar 'asatil 'ajnabiat min shawati 'umatina."

Sir, there is news of foreign fleets off of the shores of our nation.

"Madha? hal hnak ghazw qadman?"

"No, apparently there is a blockade of the country north of us, Serbia"

"La 'afham , srbya balad ghyr sahiliin , kayf yanwun tanfidh alhasar?"

"I don't understand, Serbia is a landlocked nation, how do they intend on carrying out the blockade?"

"la 'aelam , lkn hunak 'asatil bialqurb min sahilina"

"I don't know, but there are fleets near our coast"

"'iinahum hamir , lkn azdirawuna tujah srbya mutabadil , hal atakhadh albarlaman qrarana bishan ma yajib eamulha?"

"They are donkeys, but our disdain towards Serbia is mutual, has parliament made a decision on what to do?"

"Almas'alat sawf tazhar qaribaan fi alghuraf , hal sanadhhab ya sydy?"

"The matter is going to come up soon in the chamber, shall we go sir?"

"Na'am, yalla"

"Yes, let's go."

The parliament has voted to let the foreign blockade through our nation to allow greater access Greater Serbia, under the supervision of the Sayfi Military and join the Navy's fleets stationed in Northern Sayf to join the blockade.

Three large men wearing the Sayfi Military uniform donning many medals and ribbons walked into a large office, with Ali Al-Karim sitting in a large leather office chair on his computer. The three men would salute and the one wearing the most ribbons and medals stepped forward and said:

"Mr. President, we've received the photos from the spy plane mission over Greater Serbia."

The man would hand him a thick orange packet full of photos, and the president would look through them

"Yes, military bases, bridges, railways, what's this?"

The president would show them photos of clearings and what appears to be a man-made crater

"Our analysts have indicated that those our mass graves sir, this would confirm testimonies from Bosniak refugees."

"Are you implying that there is a genocide occurring in Greater Serbia and Bosniaks are being targeted?"

"It appears that that is what's happening, sir."

"General, ready the military. If you'll excuse me I'll be presenting this information to parliament."

"Yes, sir."

The chambers of parliament are loud and are full of murmuring when suddenly the president bursts in through the doors and announces: "Order!" suddenly the chambers quiet

"There is a genocide in Greater Serbia! The Bosniaks are being killed and thrown into holes in the ground!"

"I propose we issue a declaration of war to Greater Serbia to liberate the Bosniak people and we should make information about the genocide known to all nations!"

Suddenly there is a murmur in the chambers that lasts for a few minutes

"All opposed?"

4 men apart of the Conservative Action party raise their hands

"All in favor?"

The entire parliament with the exception of the 4 men raise their hand

"Very well, I shall inform the Minister of Defense to issue the declaration of war and to execute the invasion of Greater Serbia and the Minister of Communications to make sure every single person on Eurth knows about the genocide."

0500 hours, Belgrade time, Mount Triglav facility undisclosed location

The Chancellor has been staying at the Triglav facility since the threats of military action have been made against Greater Serbia. For the past weeks, while business has been carried on as usual, the Presidential Palace has been very empty without the presence of Milosevic and his immediate cabinet. Stambolic, the head of the Serbian G-men Department of National Safety, is present as usual, over-seeing the ethnic cleansing operations in the situation room.

"Morning, Chancellor." said, in his tired voice, greeting Milosevic.

"How are the operations, Stambolic? Don't give me any sugar coating." demanded Milosevic.

"Everything is going as stable as can be, Bosnian population growth has been at a negative monthly rate of 3.8" Stambolic said, enthusiastically.

"Well, hopefully there won't be any Bosnians once those dirty Westerners fall out of the skies." Milosevic said, cheeringly.

"What is the foreign situation?" Milosevic inquired.

"Well, intelligence services would infer that other nations want to intervene, militarily." Stambolic answered.

"What are our options of recourse?" asked Milosevic.

"We either lose popular support, and bend to the will of the westerners, or we stand and fight." suggested Stambolic.

"What're our allies in this effort?" Milosevic wanted to know.

"I can send a letter to our Derthaler partners, without them, I don't know what other nations that would come to our aid." stated Stambolic.

"For now, I want to pre-mobilize the army, start notifying our paramilitaries and militias to get prepared." ordered Milosevic."

"Yes, Chancellor." acknowledged Stambolic.

1800 hours, next day.

The diesel engines that were inspected and serviced the day before, cranked to produce big plumes of smokes from their rusted pipes, getting warmed up to haul supplies across the nation, getting logistics in place for the full mobilization. The trucks loaded to the maximum with building supplies, and FOB parts. Sooner or later there will be major preparations for a defense against many nations trying to assert their liberal dominance on the defiant Serbs. Soon, there will be soldiers and military police on the streets and highways of the country, digging barriers and dropping sandbags, letting the people know the severity of the situation.

The Feudal Times is Mauridiviah's top newspaper. Founded during the times of the early monarchy, it has only been a hit since the fall of the monarchy due to a scandal about the paper refusing to change its name nor close. It gives news from the baised perspective of the Monarchist Party, a now minor but strong party in Mauridivian politics. The motto of Feudal Times is "SEMPER VERIDICVM", "Always truthful" in Latin.
