To Commercial Direction of Aérospatiale

We would like to announce that the Royal Aero Club of Cristina launched an expansion program of its fleet. We intend to acquire new plane models to add to our world famous collection.

Thus, recalling all the satisfactory dealings between the Kingdom of Cristina and the Aérospatiale in the last years, the Administrative Body of the Royal Aero Club, headed by Chief Director sir Heracles Mangoni, has decided to approach that renowned Lysian company seeking for a new trade agreement.

It is of our great interest the acquisition of the following aircrafts made and commercialized by Aérospatiale, in their unarmed version:

  • Projetc 3 “L’Ange” (2 units plus 1 unity for static display)

  • Project 4 “Plaisir” (2 units plus 1 unity for static display)

  • Project 5 “Fontenoy (2 units plus 1 unity for static display)

  • Project 6 “Breguet” (2 units plus 1 unity for static display)

  • Rafale (1 unity for static display)

We look forward for an answer from Aérospatiale regarding the possibility of purchase of the above items and the respective costs.

Faithfully,

Administrative Body of the Royal Aero Club.

The company Aérospatiale is more then willing to share knowledge and push cooperation forward in our domain, we shall be delighted to help you fulfilling your task of acquisition of a large panel of aircraft in order to complete this collection, by helping the acquisition of Aérospatiale work throughout the ages.
For the first matter of the Rafale, we shall be delighted to provide one of the 4 prototype which served as testing during the years 1980’s and 1990’s, the first version of the Rafale B (standing for Biplace) which for the moment never saw massive production, this is considered as the most delicate version of the plane, having to re-draw the aerodynamics of the plane with the exception of the nose, along an incredible work over the space issue. Even if this plane haven’t seen production, and is considered as an innovative piece of work for Aérospatiale, putting the bases of future aircrafts, we shall be delighted to provide you this version without any charge on our part if we are assured of the good maintenance and non-usage of the plane.
Over the Projet 3 to Projet 6 (respectively the L’Ange, Plaisir, Fontenoy and Breguet), current planes are retired and in museums or private collections. However, one of our unit being specialized in retired aircraft mainly for the beginning of the century until the half shall be delighted to provide you with the said copies, even if those shall not be originals unfortunately. We know that some Projet 4 “Plaisir” are still active as leisure or even demonstration planes, we do hope you may dispose of the others which we would manage to re-create for you in a positive way. Financials disposition are however not known yet for such program of plane, and we shall come back to your in time in order to inform you of the said dispositions.

Thank you for your reply.

It is with great joy that all members of the Royal Aero Club received the news on your offers.

We assure you the the good maintenance and non-usage of the prototype Rafale. It will be statically displayed in the Royal Museum of Aviation administred by the Royal Aero Club.

The museum owns over 200 aircraft previously operated by many air forces worldwide, as well as aircraft previously flown by several civil airliners and private flying clubs. The most valuable collections are housed in geodesic glass building. Specialist  technicians and aviation lovers work with great dedication and professionalism on the preservation of the collection.

We will be greatly honored if you visit us someday.

As for the requested Projet 3 to Projet 6, we eagerly look forward for your final stance.

Faithfully,

Administrative Body of the Royal Aero Club.
