1. Hello one and hello all, and welcome to the 2018 KAP World Grand Prix Series! The newly founded WGPS, sponsored and powered by KAP Limited (the world's best automotive manufacturer), has finally been revealed to the world. Countries are encouraged to develop chassis, find and nurture homegrown talent, and bring their best to the world stage to compete in the premier spec series. The national teams will be expected to develop and construct their own chassis, meeting the requirements to fit a unique KAP V10 4.0l mid-mounted powerhouse. Depending on the amount of entries, two to three drivers will be permitted per team, hopefully filling out a 20+ car grid. The KAP WGPS will travel to the greatest circuits of the world, spanning six continents and several countries. Due to a strict budget cap, teams will not require sponsors, and are being encouraged to design artistic liveries in the nation's home colours. Spearheaded by WGPS President Aslak Eikeland, the series hopes to kick off pre-season testing by the end of the month. A race calendar and points system will be confirmed upon the finalisation of the entry list. After weeks of trial and error, I've got an Excel sim from an old Reddit fantasy league working and I'm able to host the competition. The results will be fully simulated in Microsoft Excel, using an albeit basic sim that requires little user input. Roleplay is welcomed but not a necessity due to time restrictions. I'm hoping to get one race every fortnight. Once entries begin to roll in, I'll generate drivers for the team and randomly assign stats to decide how competitive they are. Each team's chassis will also be randomly generated. If there's enough demand, I can release a blank template for teams to design car liveries. For the 'National Circuit', each country is welcome to submit a (real life) circuit for the calendar. I'll update this post to include teams, drivers, and the calendar. I'll place a tentative deadline for applications for the 29th of March, so we can start pre-season testing by the end of the month and start the actual calendar in April. In the name of fairness, I will not be participating, and will instead oversee the running of the league, which includes simulating the races and writing the race reviews. If interest is high, others may write about their team, such as reactions to the races, behind-the-scenes narratives, etc.

I will copypaste the results in this topic. Each match will be generated only once so the results are random. After the results are posted, each participant in the match is welcome to RP the story of their team. I will leave 2 days or 48 hours for you to reply with an RP story. This is not an obligation, but will earn you the advantage of a "second chance". Gain a higher chance of winning Players who reply with RP a story of at least 300 words will be awarded a "second chance" in the next match, meaning: I will generate two match results. This feature serves to reward active participation. One RP player. Should one of these two results be in favour of the player who RP'ed the story of their last match, then the favourable result will be chosen. Should a "second chance" deliver two bad results for the player who RP'd, then the result that is least negative for their side is chosen. Two RP players. This "second chance" is ignored if both players RP'd their last match.
  3. The NationStates League is an international association football competition, to be contested by the national teams of UENA (Union des Associations Nationales de Football). The first tournament is due to commence in June 2018, and the winner will be decided in July 2018. The bidding process to select a location for the cup will start in April 2018. Calendar March: Foundation April: hosting bids May: tournament planning June: tournament start July: tournament finish Tournament Depends on the number of teams we have. If we have 8 teams, it will be an easy bracket of 8 to 4 to 2 teams With 12 teams, we can hold a group phase of 3 teams each, of which the top 2 advance. With 16 teams, the group phase can include 4 teams. Participants If you are interested in participating, please reply with the following information: Team nickname (optional): can be generated using https://www.teamnames.net/fantasy/random-team-name-generator Team colours (2) Team coach Team players: 11 names in total, can be generated using https://www.behindthename.com/random/ Team kit (optional): can be generated using http://dyo.blksport.com/ Team lineup (optional): can be generated using https://www.buildlineup.com/ OOC In 2004 we held our very first football league: the Inter-Europa Football League. Two years later, in 2006, this was continued by the Euro Cup. And now, 12 years later, I want to reboot the idea with a Nations League. We will use the tools and generators already available. To help get this started you can add your team and players. We will also be needing a global headquarters.

  5. This Saturday saw the match between the Dion Kings and RSC O'polis. RSC stepped up their League title push with a clear victory over Dion at the Canvas Stadium with 61736 in attendance. RSC got an early lead thanks to the quick feet of Caoimhe Laing (8), who opened the score in the 10th minute. Both teams kept up the pressure. At the opening of the second half, it was Romeo Acosta (6) who scored the second goal. Dion felt the pressure building up, and started playing a much harder game. They collected a total of 23 fouls and 3 yellow cards, but to no avail. In the 77th minute, O'polis finished off the team from Dion with another goal from Laing. 7. Orioni

    Ocean's Cup

Ocean's Cup Greetings honoured neighbours. The Beautiful Empire of Orioni has aired intentions to organise a sailing race around Europa. The prestigious sporting event will last 10 to 20 days, and is open to competitors from all nations, whether maritime or not. The sailing race will start when enough teams have commited a team and when a complete sailing route has been plotted by the Cup's organisation. The race is set to start in Zuidhaven (Orioni) and should go around Europa in a clockwise fashion. Therefore we still looking for coastal nations who are willing host an Act (stage) of the race. If so, please contact me with the name of your coastal city, and the organisation will try and fit said city into the racing schedule. Act ? Depature ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Arrival 01 ? ?Zuidhaven (Orioni) ? ? ? ? ... 02 ? ?... ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?... 03 ? ?... ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?... 04 ? ?... ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?... 05 ? ?... ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?... ... One participant per nation is welcome to take part in this competition. If you are interested, then please post the following data in the thread bellow. Country: Defending Yacht Club: Boat Name: Skipper: Construction: Picture: Please remember that this is a sailing race, so only sailing ships are allowed. Ships that are good in southern waters should also be able to sail more northern seas. Any ship that is damaged may be repaired if it manages to reach the port of destination of the Act it is in. PS: The logo was made using the Official Seal Generator. I'll explain the way the race will be calculated on a later moment in time. Just know that I'll be using a dice or two to determine the order of arrival in each Act/stage.
