From: Imperial Council of the United Houses of Astriedan

To: DC de Aérospatiale Rémy Georges Pierre Ferré

Greetings,

The Emperor and the High Command of Astriedan are indeed interested in replacing the Imperial Air Force fighter jets. The High Command and Air Command have directed their choice towards the Eclair C as it presents the defensive capabilities that we are searching for the fighter jets of our air force. We would also be interested in transports and radar planes and would like to know if you had some to propose.

In order to discuss this further, and according to your proposal, we would like to organize a meeting with you. This meeting would take place in the Imperial Palace of House Colegard in Avulens to ensure maximum safety  and confort for everyone that will be present. You can come with anyone you want to come with you. Our present representatives will be composed of an official delegate of the Imperial Throne and of some high ranked military personnel.

Please let us know if you agree to our rendez-vous proposal and indicate a date for it to happen.

Sincerely yours,

the Imperial Council.

To : The United Houses of Astriedan

Salutations to the Imperial Council,

Allow me to, first of all, recognise how much and deeply honoured Aérospatiale is about your investment for our Éclair C fighter, which is a pride of our company in the spearhead of technology and advancements towards always more efficient and reactive machines. With your agreement, I shall be delighted to visit in person your nation in order to allow your Excellencies to question and even if wished challenge the plane abilities and alignment with Astriedan air force and global military strategy.

I shall transmit the details of the organisation of my venue with my secretary which shall contact your administrative in order to manage our agendas and the said logistics to make this rendez-vous possible, hopefully allowing me to have the privilege of discovering the Imperial Palace and its important history along place in the World.

Looking forward to meet your Excellencies,

With all due respects,

Rémy was on his way to his office as he got his secretary in the corridor interpelling him, “Monsieur” said the secretary with many files in his arms, “Oui ?” questioned Rémy, a bit stressed with all the things he had in his head, having to not forget as he was on his way to note them or make them. He was a bit disturbed as you may know by being perturbed by a “foreign” interaction while he had his many subjects in his head moving around, customers, logistics issues, internal crisis and much more. However, hopefully, this one, this information his secretary was about to give him would make for once, appear a small smile on his face for this hard day, “I may have managed to arrange meeting with the Astriedan Imperial Council in the Imperial Palace” said with satisfaction the secretary, which naturally immediately caught Rémy intention, making him lose a bit his priorities in his head and immediately wonder “When?”, “As a matter of fact Monsieur, you're departing tonight” informed the secretary, a bit not sure if this move has been right, but Rémy reaction was rather the opposite, he felt released from his duty for once, as his true talent and passion was to sell, well selling, not like a pity vendor, but being focus on the customer and making pass naturally the customer wellness before everything else, something which has been criticised to him many times, but made him manage to arrive in the office he was in, which wasn't anything, after all, Directeur Commercial! “Thanks” simply replied Rémy, making a friendly tap to his secretary, almost making him lose balance and fall all his files, as Rémy started a bit running through the office leaving his secretary like this, “Oh and don't forget the gift” he said, almost screaming, turning back a bit while pursuing his run away in order to make his secretary do the necessary things it seems.

The evening, late, as always Rémy had his affairs prepared, as always, not having real time to manage his own clothing, delegating this to his secretary which had himself a secretary managing that... Yes, thanks, hierarchy! As his driver opened him the door of the car he was in, allowing him to move a foot on the tarmac of the airport of Autun, which was the place of the Aerospace in Fleur de Lys, naturally where many companies were based and most importantly where Aérospatiale was based, Rémy entered into one of the many private jets of the company, a Magne which were specialised in business meeting. The trip was to be long, very long, after all, Astriedan was on the other side of the globe compared to Fleur de Lys, or the other way around, well, still the travel was to be long, with or aerial refuelling or one or two stops even with the great aircraft fuel capacity. He was starting to get used to it after the Sunset Sea Islands and fortunately the Aérospatiale planes were very much good for sleeping, as noise reduction was one of the key factors to the achievement of a plane in the company.

After many hours of studying, working, enjoying the WiFi the plane have been installed, even if tough depending on which area it was flying over, Rémy enjoyed a nap and after a good shower in order to prepare himself for this rendez-vous, with no more no less than the Imperial Council. Strong of his meeting in Sunset Sea Islands, this time he asked for a different plane configuration allowing this shower to be taken along his, well, personally beauty preparation. Landing, as usual, was smooth and agreeable, a leisure to travel as always with the Magne. As the plane landed, it allowed Rémy to take a better look at the other planes on the tarmac, which weren't that new compared to the shiny one he just landed with, this made Rémy wonder even more about the potential of Astriedan for further business... But remain focus, the plane finally at one point stop in parallel to a car, which from what may be observed was waiting for them, probably sent by his hosts which were eager now to meet him. As usual now, Rémy took his attaché-caisse, opened the heavy but easy to move door of the aircraft, waiting for the operators of the airport to come with stairs, which at one point they did, before making his first step in Astriedan before finally making the real first one on Astriedan ground, there he was.

Boring journey in a car? This truly wasn't, as usual, this allowed him to take a better look at where he was, observing reality is much better than a thousand reports which he may have read during his flight. On the outside Astriedan seems retarded, medieval with for example aging aircraft on the tarmac, but when you go deeper, you see where they put focus on, their flourishing industries, well maintain infrastructures, innovative manufactures, this was their force which they have preserved, and like Lysians on other matters, when you don't have the assets, skills or even means for something, you call for foreigners.

After around 40 minutes ride, with not a single word being spoken, the car passed some kind of security before moving just in front of what it seems to be the Imperial Palace. Much more impressive than in pictures, this was it, the moment to say his first word in Astriedan was to come. The driver of the car took a look outside, as another man arrived, opened the passenger door, “Monsieur Ferré ?” asked the man, “Yes” simply responded Rémy, “Please follow me” asked politely the man, starting his new journey in the great corridors of the Imperial Palace being guided by this man.

Danni Barret, the commander of the Imperial Air Force, entered the meeting room. Correy Rees, one of the 5 High Commanders of the Imperial Forces, was already here. Both men did the traditionnal salute, first showing their hands then hitting their chest with their right fist (I have no weapons, I have no armor) then they mutually shook hands.

"Do you know when our guest will be here ?"  asked Danni while taking a seat at the large oval table at the center of the room. "Probably in a few minutes, I know he is already in the palace..." responded Correy while also taking a seat, "The real question is: where is this damn speaker? I would expect Imperial Representative to be in advance!". That's when the door oppened once more time as a security officer entered the room, followed by the DC of Aérospatiale: Rémy Georges Pierre Ferré. The security officer saluted and quickly leaved the room, leaving the 3 men in the room. Danni and Correy both stood up to welcome the DC and to introduce themselve. "I hope that your trip to the palace was pleasant" Asked Correy while Danni invited the DC to seat down. "We are only waiting for the imperial speaker to show up then we can begin. If you need anything you can use these tablets" he said while pointing one of the tablets incrusted in the table. "You can also have access to internet with these as they are connected to the highly secured network of the palace...".

As everybody was sitting down, the door opened once again as a man entered the room. He was bald, pale and he weared a long black robe with the blason of House Colegard on his torso. He slowly and silently walked into the room. "Greetings, I am the imperial speaker and I will be the representative of the imperial throne and the Imperial Council during this meeting..." his voice was very calm and fluid.

As the speaker sat down, Danni turned towards the DC of Aérospatiale: "Now that everyone is here, we can begin. I will resume to you the demands of the Imperial Air Force: We have currently 80 active "Tempests". Those are astriedanese fighter jets from the 50's, useless to say that we cannot stand a fight against air force of Europa. The main goal of the IAF is the defense of Astriedan as the House armies doesn't have any air forces. We need a modern fighter, capable to put up a fight against a modern air force. With some very agressive nations being present in Europa, and I'm especially thinking about Derthalen which is dangerously close to us, we need an aircraft who could quickly respond to any surprise invasion. The Air Command and the Imperial High Command have agreed on buying the Eclair C but we would like your expertise before making any final decision... Also, we would like to buy a transport and some radar planes but you don't sell those am I right?".

Wile he was speaking, the High Commander was silently agreeing with him while the speaker wasn't even moving an inch, like he was dead inside. When Danni finished talking, the three astriedanese turned towards Rémy, waiting for his response.

As Rémy was lead through corridors and through corridors, he could just admire the interior of such Palace, finally arriving and being welcomed by two officers, from what we may say with their shiny uniforms, you may say their ranks from their shoulders. Rémy advanced, quietly and slowly, with his right hand on his jacket at the first button, getting information with his eyes on the room and the new environment he was to be placed in, the security officer which escorted him quickly left, letting the three men alone in the meeting room, for now. May observe firstly the Commander Barret, from the Imperial Air Force of Astriedan, this one had a rather impressive military background, Rémy having taken the time while on his flight to read the operating conditions of such officer which he knew would most probably be part of such important and affirmative meeting for the future of Astriedan Imperial Air Force. On the other hand, had a Commander, with even more stars from what Rémy could tell, probably from the Head Quarters, as Rémy advanced towards them, he gained in confidence, getting to assimilate in his mind the place he was just in, a great meeting room, thin in width windows, with walls going up to the sky, letting admire a rare and fine symbolic, this Palace had seen things, many things from Astriedan History, and evolved with the ages and rules, changing but keeping its soul, and now was the day, the day to have a rather simple meeting in here, between a foreign representative and two Commanders of the Imperial Army, a meeting which will most probably leave no real trace in History, but none the less remained important to those present and the one which would benefit or not from it, letting the butterfly effect taking place. To Commander Rees, Rémy may only answer as a good commercial, “It is hard to complain about our jets”, with a wink and a large smile like he knew how to do them, allowing only sympathy to be sent to him as a response. As both Commanders invited him indirectly to sit, Rémy, pulled out the central chair, at the top of the table towards the entry from which he passed, just in front of one of those tablets, untying the first button of his jacket in order to properly seat and take his ease, while putting just on the side his attaché-caisse, which he never left.

As they just sat, the doors opened, allowing another guest to the meeting to make his appearance it seems, letting enter a man, with from what we may say had rather conservative or should we say traditional clothing. Rémy stands up, as a sign of respect and greetings, with his voice, the new guest to this meeting was rather discreet, and this is maybe what he wished, which is why slowly Rémy sat again, ready to listen to his hopefully future clients.

Commander Barret started, after all, if there was somebody knowing the Astriedan Imperial Air Force active force and services on the fingertips, this has to be him. He started resuming the current situation, and the challenges ahead of them along the mission, many subjects were started by the Commander, from the Derthalen threat to the need for a modern fighter able to rival to any possible threat to Earth, along with if the Éclair C was the finest choice or not… With a naturally “Yes” as the only possible answer, and questions over transport and radar planes.

First of all, thank you Messieurs for having invited me, and Mr Speaker” started Rémy, saluting formally the representative of the Imperial Council. “I wish to put aside a question first of all if I may” pursued Rémy, starting to get his hands on the table and moving them in order to make his ideas pass while he was talking, “The Derthalen claim to have developed a ramjet engine, something perfectly achievable as we, ourselves already have developed two properly functional ramjet interceptors, is purely hallucination” he said, taking a break, I am far from being a geopolitician expert or diplomat, but I am an engineer, this was my job, now in sales certainly, however what I may state with insurance is that this is pure state-propaganda, such retarded nation, with medieval legislation and high isolationist is just good to make entertainment, I do understand your concerns, after all they’re aggressive with their neighbors, even with their very restrain armament, and air force. Leading to the second matter, a proper and modern air task. Is the Éclair C an excellent interceptor? Would be hard to say otherwise, but the question remains about the utility you have of it, it is an air to air fighter, and it is expensive. You wish a multi-role, we propose you the Rafale, excellent at dogfight and on duo mission to seek and destroy ground targets, we have a cheaper, less costly version developed early, with one reactor called the Mirage. Question remains about what does your Air Force needs to fulfill his engagements, I am far from learning your position and grade Commander” he said while looking at Commander Barret, in no mean to offend, “We may naturally equip the Éclair C of air to ground missiles, but would carry much less then a Rafale for example, but such fighter is excellent at air to air destruction” he developed, “Now, over transport and radar plane, for transport we do not have a specific spectrum, only converted civilian airplane we produce such as the Autun, Magenta and Magne, which is sufficient in Lysian military context for example, but for deployment throughout the Earth, naturally it won’t be, or deployment in conditions in which the enemy owns the tarmac… But may do airborne assaults naturally. While on the question of radar plane, I suppose you mean AWACS plane? We have variants of the Magenta, and mostly Magne in AWACS” he ended, having delivered certainly much content, and waiting for the reaction of his hosts.

The three astriedanese carefully listened to Rémy and memorized each of his words. He reassured the officers about Derthalen, spoke about prices and capabilities of some of Aérospatiale's fighter jets and concluded on the transports and AWACS planes. Once he finished, Commander Barret, High Commander Rees and the Imperial Speaker talked to each other in House Language for about 3 minutes, then Commander Barret turned towards Rémy once again:

"So, we examined what you just said. As I doubted, it won't be possible to replace all of the Imperial Air Force's planes. With my colleague High commander Rees and the Imperial Speaker, we came to the conclusion that, considering their price and capabilities, about 30 Eclairs C were widely enough for what we intend to use them for.

As for transport and AWACS, we would like to know more about the Magne as we think other planes would be way overkill for our needs. Can the Magne be converted as an efficient transport plane and what would be his hypothetical capabilities in terms of passenger and payload? And what are the capabilities of it's military versions as an AWACS plane?"

Rémy certainly had no idea of what they may say, even if just remarking eventually a word or two, you know, this is just like this when you come to a foreign language, somebody says a word and you instinctively know its meaning, after having seen it in a movie? In a book? Or just a friend? Even if you don’t know how you got it, it remains useless, as Rémy was sitting on his chair, waiting for the Gentlemen to a potential debate of which question or tactics to use, after all, this remained a commercial meeting. Rémy didn’t wish to be indiscreet, but this allowed him to better take a look at the Imperial Representative and its very original, and potentially typical here, tenue and dressing, naturally as the Imperial Representative would feel himself observed, Rémy would discreetly turn its eyes on the windows in order to have a look outside, while seeming comfortable in his seat so that his secret look and curiosity for that man would remain secret, he knew how to be discreet, observing the people was one of those past time he had, even seating in a café and watching people pass, the one after the others, wondering their life, difficulties, regular behaviour, thoughts, ideas, and much more… When he was young at the Université, it was one of his game with his friends, even just for catching a young Lady, approaching her… Well, a totally different story from the one we got here, certainly not boring, full of passion and fire.

Fortunately for him, our dear DC from Aérospatiale learnt patience from one of his personal life’s lesson, standing there with his two hands on the table perfectly in a parallel manner, clearing a certain calm out of him, while preparing himself to arise at the expedient time. Finally, or shall we say for remaining polite, after a brief and concise talk, those Gentlemen were ready to speak again the langue of Shakespeare… His first sentence was what he expected, naturally such nation of this size wouldn’t have the mean for remaking its entire air arsenal, even more, when coming to such pricey and prestigious Eagle as the Éclair, which made Rémy mark a little slack. What however positively surprised him, well surprised, he was a commercial and sold well the Magne NGAM, what positively impacted his humor shall we say, was the interest they had on the Magne, a simple plane made by Aérospatiale first at the needs of Governmental small flights, then converted for private air travels industry, and the Force de l’Air just had to take a look at it in order to optimise it and turn it into an avid bird willing to communicate targets to destroy to its companions. Rémy advanced, leaving his comfortable position, in order to get a better hearing and a more involved tone in the talk. Rémy would have a hard time when coming to the transport question, but transport needed further clarifications, “This depends on what type of transport? If this is the kind of plane you wish to land on an occupy enemy airport and retake it from those bastards, it’s definitely not the plane you wish” he addressed, being frank with the customer not willing to create confusion, satisfying the customer even if it is for not buying your products, this was a purpose, he was even franker that he used the term of “bastard” for describing the enemy, something which was natural in the Lysian military, however not in the civilian sector, making his stand out his career and the military service… “But if for simple deployment, or even official travels, this sounds right” he added, “Depends on the configuration, 20 plain” he addressed the passengers point, “73,000 lb for weight takeoff”, Rémy rearranged his position on the seat, in order to address the most enjoyable part, which the Magne excelled in, the AWACS. “At Mach 0,9, with a range of 11,945 km, it’s a good patroller, may put right under the wings some anti-submarines explosives, even if needed anti-ship missions, much heavier then what a fighter may carry. This makes him a right target if too close, but as it may carry heavy missiles, the range being longer, it’s also an advantage, complementing fully its AWACS mission” he marked a break, being amused, “As you know, Fleur de Lys does not have any coastline” it makes him a large smile, “However we had some use for it as destroying heavy land targets”, he advanced his hands, speaking passionately about this plane, “But make no mistake, it’s not its main purpose naturally, and have very limited uses of it, it’s more for the show sometime we may say as it remains a heavy plane compared to fighters naturally. But when coming to the AWACS part, 500% operational and efficient” he ended, having introduced all the facts needed for the dear Gentlemen to make a decision, or just take some time to think of all of this, “I am totally open to leaving this last affair to your thoughts” admitted Rémy, not willing to push them to a decision, and being already more then glad to have exported the famous Éclair for 30 planes in Astriedan.

As expected, the DC of Aérospatiale made a very satisfying answer Barret's questions about the Magne and his overall capabilities. As Rémy spoke about the Magne's capabilities, his range, his maximum payload, it's efficiency for insertion in dangerous zones and many more things, commander Barret was rapidly typing on tablet that was in front of him, knowing that he would have to decide where that plane would be the most efficient in Astriedan.

In the meantime, the Imperial Speaker was very interested not only in what Rémy said but also about Rémy.

That man have a talent for speaking, that's sure... Is it because of his education or for something else? Maybe the Imperial Bilogic Research Bureau could find some interesting genes in that man. Yes, if we can find something like a hair or a bit of flesh, that would be interesting... he thought.

He was also memorizing everything that Rémy was saying in order to make his report to the Emperor later during the day.

When Rémy was finished, the three astriedanese looked at each other, then the speaker said a few word in house language and the two other nodded. Barret and Rees stood up and bowed down to Rémy.

"It was a pleasure, let's hope your planes are worth their price." said high commander Rees before leaving the room.

"This was very insteresting indeed. In the hope of seeing you again, monsieur..." then said commander Barret while also leaving the room.

When both of the officers had left, the Imperial Speaker then speaked again whil quickly typing on the tablet before him:

"According to our current economic capabilities, the prices of your planes and the will of the Imperial Council and of the Imperial Air Force I came up with a trade deal proposal, you will set the prices but be aware that we know the basic prices of your products. Of course, this is not the final agreement and you can negociate over it if you want..."

When he had finished talking, he handed the tablet to Rémy with a document written on it:

Trade agreement

Between:

The United Houses of Astriedan

and

Aérospatiale

1/ Aérospatiale will deliver 30 Eclairs C and 1 Magne M to Astriedan by [please specify means of delivery]. Those planes shall all be fully tested, functional and safe to use.

2/ Astriedan will pay [specify your price] Francs (converted from astriedanian trade credits) for the Eclairs C and [specify your price] Francs for the Magne M

3/ Aérospatiale will train 10 pilots from the Imperial Air Force to the use of the Eclair C and 2 pilots plus 4 operators to the use of the Magne M and its equipment.

As Rémy finished responding to his dear guest, he put himself deep and comfortable in the armchair, waiting for their regards to be exchanged, sign of the heads to be confronted, and if necessary, words to be fired. However, it seems to not be truly the case, as Barret was typing something on his tablet, while the Imperial Speaker kept an eye on Rémy, which was causing him to be more curious about that man, under his disguise, this representative of the Emperor it seems, had more powers then it seems, being from what Rémy may catch, the eyes and ears of the Emperor. Indeed, it was, as the three looked each other, and it was the Imperial Speaker which spoke firstly, immediately having the two Commanders noodle and seems to align with him, by fear or by conviction? By necessity or by mean? This was to be clarified, but another day maybe, as when the signature for a contract comes, you don’t panache.

With Rees comment, and leaving, just joined a few seconds later by Barret, this seems to be confirming Rémy’s interrogations and suspicions… Their comment before leaving, was certainly, what we may say, gentle in a way, or encouraging for the contract, but it had a bit of bitterness, something which Rémy wasn’t particularly fond of, just the idea of it, lead to some, not confusion, but hesitation on Rémy’s part. With the Imperial Speaker speaking, was clear that they naturally had concerns about the price of those beasts. Rémy took the tablet with a certain leisure, as this was now his part to make it, this would define a major passage for the fertile, yet difficult, a relationship that is plausible with the Astriedans. Certainly, Air Force is a small part of Aérospatiale business, but once a customer is fidelised, it’s for long, plus it allows support of the financial costs to the poor Republic of Fleur de Lys which suffer enough to provide all the financial need for the current project, this shall give a bit of oxygen for the Éclair program, allowing the Spectre financement. “I have no doubts” commented with a serious tone the little comment made by the Imperial Speaker, which made him sounds like a crook, something he hated knowing how much he was willing to do for his client, but he understood the necessity of the sentence, as he knew some other rogues wouldn’t hesitate to put the client in the turmoil, but given Aérospatiale History and Prestige, this wasn’t certainly in its policies, and even the planes that they were selling were used, back in home, which they liked to show in order to prove their efficiency, but that’s another discussion.

It’s with a certain satisfaction that Rémy engaged with the tablet, leaving his comfortable and deep position in the armchair, advancing his fingers, pressing them on the tablet, as he pulled out of his jacket his phone, discussing online with his team on a secured connexion. This took a few minutes, under the watch of this Speaker, more Inquisitor then Imperial. Finally, Rémy ended his operation, handling it back to his owner, without a single word, this was to be finalised, or not, in all cases, this was a good exercise for Rémy, allowing him to write on the way back home in the plane, a report for future negotiations with the Astriedan authorities and culture, which would be useful in the future, probably, we may never know, an hidden advantage somewhere, just waiting to be used in a couple decades, truce of discussion. Now was the final.

While Rémy was writing, the Imperial Speaker sent a few messages to the team of the IGRB wich would be sent to the meeting room, telling them to wait for Rémy to leave the palace to start looking for some DNA samples. Sure, it wasn't really legal to not ask for Rémy's permission but the law wasn't a problem for the Emperor, as long as he wasn't caught.

The Imperial Speaker then took the contract that the Aérospatiale CEO handed to him without a word, releived to see that the prices were the ones he expected.

"This looks okay to me..." He said, reading the contract and verifying every price calculation in his head a dozen times.

"Yes, yes, this exactly is what the Emperor is looking for."

He pressed his finger against a small button on the tablet, sending the contract directly to the Emperor Adrain Colegard (or more exactly, to a portable screen incrusted on his throne). Some seconds later, a small green light appeared on the said button, indicating that the contract was indeed accepted by the Emperor, immediatly followed by a digital signature of the Emepror appearing on the contract. The Imperial Speaker then handed back the contract to Rémy:

"The contract is approved, we just need your signature"

After Rémy signed the contract, the Imperial Speaker stood up, inviting the CEO to do so. Both of them then exited the meeting room into one of the busy hallways of the Colegard Palace wich was heavily crowded with nobles, guards, busy scientists and people running around with big piles of documents. Just as they entered the hallway, a group of 3 person (two men and a woman) dressed exactly like the Imperial Speaker approached them.

"It's time for me to leave you, monsieur, my colleague here (he designated the female imperial speaker) will accompany you trough the palace. It was a very pleasant and interesting moment tha we just spent, indeed." The Imeprial Speaker said.

He then nodded to Rémy as a sign of goodbye and walked away with the two other male imperial speakers.

The female imperial speaker turned towards Rémy and invited him to follow her.

"So, how is your trip to Astriedan so far?" she asked Rémy while guiding him to the exit of the palace.

As this strange and still undercover representative took the tablet, Rémy felt that after all, he had no clue of who he was addressing to, except most likely someone important in the Astriedan hierarchy, which even if being displeased by the military commanders, had their full respect and obedience, something which wasn’t common for most administrations, and Rémy knew a thing, seeing those politicians which are generally civilians as dummies, not knowing a thing about how harsh situations can be, but complaining about their unclear and undefined knowledge of what a fighter can be, or what purpose it may serve, for them it was generally just a tool, tool making seems great in the newspaper, and of geopolitical strategy, without caring much of significance for those which will use it… But such respect earned from the military was to mean something, this is with a certain leisure that Rémy’s curiosity has been profoundly touched with that meeting, something which shall mark him, and give him a back taste, which will force him to take a look at the files Aérospatiale had in its possession about all transactions -if any- with Astriedan, or he would have to give a little visit to his old friends in the Forces Armées for more intelligence, this was to be seen. It released the tension with the Imperial Speaker comment about the Emperor, and that was what he was looking for, not that he didn’t remember a thing about the Emperor’s military career in their air force, but more than the two previously at the table military commanders seems confident, and making Rémy himself confident knowing he wasn’t selling… Pardon my French. A green light came back, giving it seems full authorisation for the Imperial Speaker to pursue with their guest, to which Rémy responded by taking the tablet, transferring his signature on the document, writing his initials, and as the Lysian protocol demanded, let his digital print with his thumb apposed where the signature has been put. Rémy wished to say et voilà as he would generally say, but in such context, it would have been totally displaced, which is the reason why he abstained himself so well.

The exit of the meeting room with its impressive ceiling let Rémy surprised by how many people were in the corridors that both him and the Imperial Speaker were taking towards the exit it seems, various dressing, strange behaviours for certain, along a great and remarkable distinct culture was floating all around, far from the occidental one which most modern societies were equipped with. Just as they were making their way through this mass of various people from the Empire, Rémy saw three people with the same allure of the Imperial Speaker, making him wonder if this wasn’t to be his little goodbye comity, to which the reply was to come in a few seconds, as the Imperial Speaker was introducing the most advanced of the three, guards? Speakers? Who would guess their rank, but as they were dressed exactly like the Imperial Speaker, the situation created more confusion then it solved, no particularly distinct sign from one another was to be, with the natural exception of their physic, with the woman being designated by the Imperial Speaker, as he was saying him au revoir. “All my pleasure Imperial Speaker. Au revoir” he responded, following the étiquette that seems to be installed there. He would certainly not offend by offering his hand, instead, he just bowed making a sign of salutations to the Imperial Speaker as he moved away with the two other Imperial Speakers which were from now, escorting the woman. He was facing now the feminised Imperial Speaker, which was to be something much more suitable to her than to them in such dressing. He, however, interpellated by how, not familiar, but more relaxed and less official she started the conversation. “An odyssey of discoveries, more passionate one than the other, succeeding at the speed of light” he commented with a smile, as he was continuously looking with another eye the beauty of the Colegard Palace, it was clearly his first time there in Astriedan, not having the leisure to travel much for his personal curiosity, being called where and when needed.

    • I think that's a wonderful idea and I am glad to see that you went ahead with the river delta options.
    • HA. Not as much briefed as in me spending a considerable amount of time going through the various areas of the forum and soaking up as much information as possible. Plus, I did read the friendly roleplaying guidelines lol. We'll connect over Discord in short order.
    • Thank you @Adaptus. I will give this another 48 hours for comments before moving ahead with the reorganisation. This task has been on my list for far too long, and I want to finally cross it off.
    • Astriedan's News Agency The ANA jingle plays as the ANA logo fades out to a presentator in front of images of various diplomats and salesmen shaking hands. "-Good morning, in the news today the recent announcements made by His Majesty the Emperor Syra Aïl III concerning the recent deal between @Sunset Sea Islands and @Astriedan to install the high tech surveillance system "Synapse" in our country. This continue His Majesty's work to make our country safer trough surveillance. While some human rights organizations have called the Synapse system an "obvious violation of privacy" and "a useless system", the legislator of the Imperial Internal Security Bureau said he was "very happy about this new system", claiming that it will "not leave a bit of privacy to any potential dangerous person. Crowd movement and movement patterns, medical and criminal databases about every astriedanian, and more, this new system will definitely change astriedanian surveillance. The Emperor did not, however, gave the price at which he bought the Synapse system.   In other news, the Imperial Army and the Imperial Guard has announced the deployment of the vehicles bought from @Iverica a few months ago. The price of the transaction was still not declared to the public but the Imperial Army Public Relations Office declared that "a modernization of the equipment was necessary".   Finally, the Noble Houses Eennso and Atria have announced that great change was to come. We still don't know what this change will be about but our best political analysts are currently trying to make predictions.   More infos on all these subjects this evening at 20pm. May your day be as joyous as Symis and glory to Astriedan." The ANA jingle plays again as the ANA logo appears again.
